Used to love this glitch I used to do the emergency airdrop one once u throw it use one man army it was quicker than just dying.

If you remove title update in Xbox settings, does this still work?

I remember using hardline then using the javelin glitch getting the emergency airdrops and using that glitch. Dom was never the same after the patch

I dont remember anyone using this glitch - I got in late on MW2. I did get into a domination lobby one time though where the other team was this party who saved all their emergency air drops up and then called them all in at the same time near the end of the match for kicks. I dont remember how many they called, but there were a crap ton of care packages on the ground. It was pretty amusing.

I'm pretty sure I found a method myself after they patched this. I think it was take the marker out, jump a wall, get a grenade out as you jump, then dpad again. I remember way back in the day, somehow after countless times doing this glitch, it literally stopped working on the next match 🤣🤣 good times

Honestly I liked MW2 back in the day. But in year 9+ after this game launched it cannot live up to your nostalgic expectations. The game was so glitched, that IW would've needed a damn hacker to patch this game properly, some guns were shit, others were completely unfairly over powered, and on my PS3, my Multiplayer profile always corrupted itself after some time which killed everything I unlocked up to that inevitable point. The Campaign was a cinematic masterpiece though. I think IW really only cared about making a blockbuster campaign and literally rushed the multiplayer so fast that I'm surprised that it even works correctly. If ever so slightly correct.

I think these would make great gamenodes if MW2R were ever to come out. A mode where you have faster and unlimited sprint while it infinitely rains care packages. It's like a mix of cranked and drop zone

There’s a care package glitch in bo4 where it can go anywhere it’s retarded I’ve lost so many because of the glitch and it goes onto a building miles away and sometimes not even dropping it

This brings me satisfaction knowing what was happening all those times I was filled with rage at MW2. Knowing that I was right about people cheating in that game gives me relief that I wasn't going crazy. At the same time knowing I missed out and was only on the receiving end of glitches like these renews the rage I once had.

Nah mate,the infinite ammo update was the greatest.

Of the few days that update wasn't fixed,it was nothing but glorious sounds of noob tubes,noob tubes,and then the AC-130 proceeding to become a full auto 105 mm platform of ultimate area denial,THE ENTIRE MAP IS DENIED.

Shame I couldn't play the game at all way back then,it's these sort of things that actually make the game fun.

Seems no ones cared and there has yet to be a gamemode with such things since.

Hated that glitch. Literally stop playing the game for a month and eventually played only Search and Destroy to avoid the glitch.

I have a very vivid memory of doing this glitch on the high part of Afghan with emergency drops with a couple of my friends very early into the match. The rest of our team realized what was happening and joined us the rest of the match. It was chaos. And when the match ended, some guy on the other team said, "I ain't even mad, I was getting so many challenges done shooting down killstreaks."

This and the absurd speed you could run while holding the cars package and knifing people at mach speed. Good times.

I did this glitch when the gaa was me first come out and the it got patched . Mw2 was full of glitches
