I think that if Gengar could count as pseudo legendary, then so should Alakazam. I knew it has a very humanoid build, but if you think about it, the whole Psychic-types-being-OP-in-Gen-1 thing suggests that a strong psychic type would probably be superior to almost every other Pokémon. Alakazam is definitely the strongest non-legendary psychic type in gen one, and to me, is pretty much a non-legendary version of Mewtwo. Additionally, Gengar and Alakazam are often treated as counterparts, and although Mikey said he doesn’t want to consider humanoid, non-rideable Pokémon, I think we can make at least one exception. (Also, I am incredibly biased because Alakazam is one of my all-time favorite Pokémon).

What is gyrados then? I genuinely don’t know, I thought he was pseudo but maybe not?

If gen3's metagross is considered pseudo then u might as well put Flygon on the list as well and same thing could be said with Garchomp/Haxorous. I don' know about the newer gen's though

Togekiss should ne big enough to ride. Especially considering the in-game sprite when using fly looks like togekiss' silhouette

This is a good list. However, how did you miss Tyrantrum? It's over 8 feet tall, a dragon type, and it's a T-rex. If any pokemon should be a pseodo legendary it's gotta be Tyrantrum.

I’m not going to lie, I always thought that corviknight was at least partially based off the Roc, a massive mythical bird big enough to catch humans in its claws. Considering corviknight literally carries people with its claws as a taxi service, I thought it was an obvious shoe in.

Luxray is a 100% no to me. As much as I love the Shinx line, it is a Pokemon on an early route and its evolution levels are way too low. I understand both of these are not violations of official requirements and that these could be changed but I just can't see it as a Pseudo Legendary based on its current context.

Also, For Aggron, it apparently is a "counterpart" for tyranitar, a pseudo legendary, in gen 6.
