Legend
ОтветитьThanks for the tips! They were great!
Ответитьim trying to build a custom yt freighter but its hard to get the circular shape of the ship right
ОтветитьGood to see I’m not alone visualizing how to build things out of lego in public! 😂
ОтветитьThis is great advice for life overall too. :) Thanks for great advice & reminders.
ОтветитьI love lego, of all different styles tecnic, bricks, all of it. And as much as i love just putting a "pre packaged" model together, i've always wanted to experiment with doing my own thing. But something always stopped me; builders block, what if i dont have enough bricks, basically everything that was stopping me was addressed in this video. Great content :)
ОтветитьI only build moc cars and i am a begginner
ОтветитьI'm not sure if this is just a problem for me, but when I try to build a moc, the main reason the project burns out is because I want to jump right to the (sexy?) part of moc building which to me is getting the minifigs and vehicles. I spend so much of my budget on these things that I never really get to buying the parts.
ОтветитьOne my favorite quotes is “comparison is the thief of joy”
ОтветитьI've just begun my foray into 'pure' mocs. However, I started by 'modding' kits. Build the kit, then add a floor - change the roof - add an angled wall...seems to have worked well for me so far. 🤷🏻♂️❤️
Starting small is great advice!
👍
ОтветитьI like how most of these tips are just genal creative advice which is still great as not everyone has being doing art for awhile... Also while I played with lego and made custom stuff before I never used it to make a moc so I'm nervous like I have almost all the pieces I used need to sit done and build. Which is what I always do when starting new things. Which I like everyone to remember this is Lego you can rebuild it if you are unhappy with it.
ОтветитьI’m gonna try doing a mock ive just used random bricks and colors for years dust for fun because I had no idea there was pick a brick at all nor did I know about Lego store (still non in my state or the states next to mine)
ОтветитьThank you so much i think i might start doing Lego Mocs
ОтветитьThanks heaps mate not only is work been a bit of an interference but that block of comparing my creativity against someone else has also been there. Inspiring video mate. Many thanks🤙
ОтветитьHey coconut I've been watching you for the better part of 2 years now these tips were really helpful and I just recently started my own channel (this channel) I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me to make my own Lego star wars M.O.C but the good thing is I have lots of parts so thank u. 🙂
ОтветитьAside from a few small scene-builds from the Mandalorian, Clone Wars, and Bad Batch, my only major Moc is a Rebels Ghost moc that I'm very proud of. This might be sort of paraphrase of your last tip but I would add this as a tip: Accept that your moc may never be "finished." Be open to adapting, learning, and utilizing new techniques you've learned and going back to an older project and improving it.
Great video! The tip on comparing yourself to others is something I learned early on with my Ghost build.
I hope to one day not feel hopelessly lost on sourcing parts...🙂 It might be easy, but as someone who just built a first (adult) moc out of stuff in our lego bins and then tried to navigate upgrading the color scheme on bricklink... wow, did I feel in over my head.
Ответитьtldr: Lego is love, Lego is life.
Ответитьthanks for help
