Need For Speed Unbound - Level 5 MAX Heat Cop Chase Escape (Ferrari FXX-K Evo Gameplay)

Kinda sad how instead of trying their hardest to escape, their trying their hardest to keep the police on their tail because the ai is so easy.

The art flare in this game is so stupid lol. It's gonna be wonderful when game developers catch up to the last 5 years and realize people are just fucking done with superheros and comic style presentations.

This was actually a refreshing touch to the good old NFSMW game back in 2005. Memorable times, still miss them like hell. Seems so far away in the year, we are already in, almost into 2024, and it's merely 20 years ago. Man, start feeling a bit old, haha.

Anyway, the design of this police chase, is amazing. First of all, the interaction between the cops, and the way they are communcating, making it more realistic, as with real world cops - apart from the hypersonic speeds, they are kinda driving at xD
The wailing siren throughout the landscapes, and echoing out in the distance when they are driving by, makes me feel like, I am watching an action-movie, where a bad guy is on the run from the authorities. What I am really missing here, which I think was a big issue with MW, is that, when you hit a roadblock head-on (with bullet-time turned off), you would lose speed, but on the flipside, if you turned the bullet-time-effect, on, you will make them would make them tip over and maybe make them do several rolls-overs, when you turned it off again. I didn't understand bullet-time, tbh. Why does your car suddenly get ´extra power´ in terms of moving the cop cars away more easily than in regular speed? That just doesn't add up, imo.

But above all that, this was a refreshing touch to a game that's almost 2 decades old. Man, time flies!

After playing Most Wanted 05 a bunch recently it kind of shocks me how TERRIBLE the police chatter is in this game. It's worse than it was for the original Hot Pursuit ffs. It doesn't sound authentic in the slightest, like just very low effort.

The interaction between the cops is ok i guess, but they kinda sound childish and cringy. I mean they are making it comedic (san andreas and 3 with the police helicopter lines are actually good) but it does get cringeworthy

they did the police right in this game. definitely my favorite aspect of unbound

I don't care what anyone says, but in terms of police chases, Rivals will always be at the top spot than MW 2005. Why? Here's the reason.

1. They're fucking deadly, vicious, aggressive, and bloodthirsty. Even if you are idle or staying out of sight from them, they will still find you no matter what because their AI programs to find racers, including you.

2. In lower heat levels, cops will only drive low level cars. But if you reach Heat Levels 8 - 10, they will swarm in, driving the Agera, the Veyron, the Venom GT, the One:1, and the F1 LM with deadly pursuit tech equipped. Everyone fears those cops.

3. In a single pursuit, they might be able to spawn 2 choppers above you and can fucking drop spike strips without even noticing it. If you don't jam them, you're absolutely screwed.

4. All is fun and games until the words PURSUIT RESUMED appears on your screen every fucking time if you are getting away from them.

I’m not saying I don’t like the game but why are the cops radio so cringe ,I don’t think we had a realistic radio since 2015 (they don’t have a radio,only a PA system) i just want a game with realistic cops but some arcade physics

Man the police dialogue is so unprofessional and silly. Like it’s a cheesy action movie or something. Compare it to actual real life police dialogue and you’ll find that IRL cops are professional, precise, and are only saying things that need to be said. Most Wanted 05 got that aspect the most right so far in the series (no I’m not a MW fanboy, hell I only played the game for the first time about half a year ago).

glad in this game. there is no rhino or super agresive police car like in heat. 😅 it would be exhausting to get in chase more than 3x just in night 1 sessions(if you want complete whole racing section)
