Why Do Wisdom Teeth Suck?

I stil have mines and they grown without any problems

Tooth decay is common. Now imagine all four 2nd molars gets removed because of it. Then enough space for the wisdom teeth aka 3rd molar. That's what happened in my lower right 2nd molar. My upper right 1st molar was removed in my teens, then as the wisdom (3rd) molar grew, it pushed my 1st molar until as if they're 1st and 2nd molars. My lower left 1st molar was removed but my lower left wisdom teeth still didn't appear hoping to replace it. My upper right wisdom teeth grew but slightly tilted outwards (i thought "why didn't you grow in the lower 1st molar spot instead?")

Never had mine maybe because of an underbite

My mouth doesn't even have space for 12-year molar

Here is my theory before watching the video. Humans had appropriately sized teeth before they interbred with Neanderthals. Since neanderthals have more space in the back and larger teeth, they introduced non compatible genetics to humans.

im 14 and one of my wisdom teeth is already coming in its the one on the top right, idk if i only have one or if the other ones havent grown in yet though

That’s the problem when everyone now has underdeveloped jaws because of mouth breathing and eating soft foods, there isn’t enough space for your wisdom teeth

I had all 4, but they grew in past my gums so they didn't have to cut thru my gums. Just grab on to the tooth, twist and pull. It was so easy I didn't even have chubby cheeks after and I recovered in 2 days.

Correction: Caucasians ate raw meat. Africans by and large had a plant based diet and those that ate meat cooked it. Caucasians have been eating raw meat and many still do. I need those beg teeth to fit in this jaw they chizzle them out and in my case they didn't get the fragments of teeth out. My gums produced em.

There's no need to remove them unless you have pains.

Im 15, grown in all four, and having my surgery tomorrow!

I got all 4 removed back in 2019 since they were giving me problems with chewing and causing ear pain.

I'm in my 30s and my bottom jaw wisdoms have come through, both have caused issues but 1 is compacted and needs removing.

Got surgery yesterday morning and just had another round of pain meds

My sister was forced to leave them in till today because of a dentist that told my mom to bring her in and weren't ready whatsoever. I don't know the full story but my mom told me my sister couldn't end up getting it out. My family has a shitty medical gamble, lol.

Wisdom teeth are useless.

Had all 4 removed. Impacted. Didnt want to be put under so i had about 14 numbing shots in the mouth and was awake during the removal.

Had all 4 of mines removed at 16. My bottom left molar was partially erupted so I experienced only mild pain post op, but my bottom right was impacted so now my cheek is swollen and my jaw is sore. I’ve been living off soups, yogurts, pudding, and porridge for the last 4 days and it’s driving me nuts. I JUST WANT SOME SOLID JUNK FOOD RIGHT NOW

Einstein probably had 7 wisdom teeth.

Because of the modern environment: chewing soft foods, improper tongue posture, etc.
So many people nowadays have craniofacial dystrophy and no room for all of the teeth.

i had my tooth removed in February it was not as bad as i thought it would be but still uncomfortable, i have one on my left side but strangely enough it has not caused me any problems

Wisdom teeth serve as spare teeth. First molars are the number one getting cavities. And as we know it, implants and root canal treatment are expensive. But if you choose to remove the first or second molar, dentist can always recommend you to use braces to rearrange your teeth line, so you can restore the functionality of that area, pulling your third molars to the place where the removed tooth was.
Teeth are precious, and none of them is expendable.

I'm lucky all of my top wisdom tooth are fine and my dentist said I don't have to extract any of them. I do have on impacted tooth and one partially covered by gum (idr the term), but the dentist said i can keep that tooth as the gum isn't that much and he can just remove the gum instead.

This shit hurttt bruv. And I'm constantly biting my cheek when eating because of it. I bite it hard enough for it to bleed this sucks make it stop.

Well when he said wisdom tooth will grow when we are 16-18 I was suprised because mine is growing before im 12

I have all my four wisdom teeth (and all my 32 teeth btw) and so far they fit perfectly in my jaw. I feel i’m a wiser man this way

I don't why we call them wisdom tooth when they're useless, I think we wish call it hated tooth.

I don't know why but I'm 25 and only have 28 permanent teeth. I don't know if I have them 3rd molars cause nothing is erupting out of my gums.

All teeth suck,theyre so important yet are so easily damaged,are high maintenance and barely heal.

They don't suck for 95% of people, the surgery SUCKS and ruins far more people than the teeth actually does though.

Rather than pulling and ruinning peoples mouths why not FIX them??

I am 24 i got 2 of them in the lower jaw when i was 20 they look fine and straight however even after 4 years they are still partially coverd in gums

As for the the other 2 in the upper jaw one of them is not even there and the other is 95% coverd in gums meat and it is not aligned well and sometimes bleed

I am worried should i visit the dentist and why do i only have 3 of them instead of 4 ?
