So sad that she appeared to have no one around her towards her last yrs seeing all the dust over everything makes me want to take a cloth and just wipe all the layers of dust off

This was one of my favorites! I adore you guys and i watch your videos!! That Christmas tree brought back memories, my grandmother had that same one! They dont make them as nice these days, i see them in vintage stores and they are so expensive! I love how u can see it lit up!! That was a treat!

Oh my, you guys make me laugh !! When you turned on the vacuum cleaner and it sucked up the rug, I laughed so much!! Way too funny!! Loved this! I hope you were able to visit Philadelphia when you were in Pennsylvania. You might have visited Independence Hall and looked at our Declaration of Independence. The year 1976 marks the 200th anniversary of the signing of this document, the American independence from Great Britain. This is refered to as the Bicentennial. In 1976 there were many celebrations throughout the US and particularly Philadelphia.

It was refreshing to find Jesus and the message still ringing forth through time.

Ada (nee Danner) was born about 1901, her and husband William J had 4 sons and 3 daughters. Oldest son William Jr passed away at age 74.

There are homeless people and those who are in burden of rent . Why don't they sell them in cheap price. Instead it is abandoned.

The vacuum is an Electrohome about 1937. I have one exactly like it. I bought a new one same name and they guaranteed it would pick up everything. It does BUT so does the 1937 one.THanks for the tour! Always interesting to see what people leave behind!

Es tan triste como pudo ser tan fuerte para llegar a 102 años en la soledad y el vacío de un hogar y creo que duele mucho también desprendernos e irnos y dejar todo por que luchamos un día … hay algo que admiro de nuestra cultura latina 🇨🇴 es que somos muy apegados a nuestras madres y familias la unión familiar siempre prevalece a pesar de conflictos … somos pocos los que dejamos a nuestros padres a la suerte así que cargaremos con ellos hasta el final 🤍 en la mayoría de las historias siempre muere primero el hombre y ella queda sola con una gran carga emocional mujeres fuertes 🤍

Incrível. Que lugar tão vivo. Tão Incrível. Não é apenas porque tem eletricidade. Mas ao assistir sente-se uma energia de vida nesta casa. Como se tudo tão vivo.
Fiquei impressionada. Pois em outros lugares consigo sentir tristeza, desolação. Mas aí na casa de Ana continua tudo com sensação de cotidiano. Ela uma senhorinha sensacional com certeza. Para deixar uma energia tão maravilhosa. Que bom conhecer esse lugar.

Shouldn't there be a lot more dust and cobwebs. That house should also be showing more signs of decay if it had really been empty all that time.😢😢😢😢😢😢

Root beer is just soda. Yes it is soda or soda pop depending which word you use. If you want the alcoholic version it is called Not Your Father's Root Beer. Tastes like root beer until the liquor kicks in.

I thought if she was 102 when she passed, and it's already been 10 years, then her kids may not even be alive anymore and her grand kids could be senior citizens themselves. However, that photo of the girl that might be a grand daughter looks like it was taken in the early 90s, so she's probably in her 40s now. Wonder if she could be found? Maybe some of the grand kids would be interested in her things if they even know about her at all...

Bicentennial means 200 years

I actually remember having that model of Hoover vacuum cleaner from the 60s. LOL She must have had an auto-pay setup with the power company, which means, money is still going into an account she had. Very sad that none of the family are around to help process the estate. Keeping in mind, the "kids" are likely all in their 80s, by now, and likely can't do anything about that place. Very sad. Thanks for sharing.

The chip container made me sad. Now they use plastic and Thousands and Thousands of pounds of trash go into the landfills every year! We need to go back to the more sustainable packaging!

Sears, believe it or not, is still in Business. They have been reduced to only 22 stores nationwide. In 2018 they filed for bankruptcy and closed almost 700 stores.
