iClone8 vs Blender Animation Controls

What are your thoughts around iClone 8?

i have a video on my channel , it has 4.5 millions views . it's on my channel , it's called the flying diarrhea prank ,
I would like to remake the whole video in different 3d scenes where i illustrate my self doing the same prank but then in 3d . My question is how can i put in the effect of me shooting the liquid out of my pants against the walls ????? Can i use some kind of water effect for the splashing effect against the walls ?? do you have a tutorial for me ? i use blender and i clone 8

I need to see how in iClone how to import UE4 model and add a bow and an arrow in order to work out archery animations and clean up mocap. In UE I attach the bow and arrow with sockets but getting timings and tweaks ironed out is a nightmare.

Nowadays, fake artificial intelligence with deep learning or machine larning applied with a model bank is nothing more than pure garbage, it's a fad thing, I really understand that the principle doesn't change, animating follows concepts of whim and affection, creating a tool that it replaces the concepts and sheer idiocy, in the future it really may be that there will be a difference but until then more than 100 years have passed, everything that is standing today was due to the analogue and not the digital, and not being arrogant to the extreme the digital has its share but it is added to analogue ehehhehe,,, I'm studying animation in blender and there's no way the manual will always win.

I use both, because I can set everything up in cc3 and Iclone and then take it out to blender to render. Is it just me or does iclone rendering and lighting just suck, unless you put all your heart and soul into it?

Yeah f*ck that, blender has it's own interpolation curve graph, plus it has like 99% more composition tools, modeling tools, sculpting tools, shading tools, texturing tools, scripting tools, rendering tools, vfx tools, even video editing tools. Honestly the only reason I would pick Iclone over blender is if I didn't wanna try. Plus blender is free while Iclone is like 30 dollars a month.

Judging from this video tbh iclone is not above blender lol , a pro blender user (considering it is free software) still would be able to do what you do in iclone 8 not to mention the huge price of iclone and that is the raw price without any additions plug-ins

Iclone 8/CC4 -$900 USD😟

I like iclone/cc for the head start they can give, but those curves you show, that is nothing compared to the graph editor where you can really fine tune, in Blender. I got frustrated with Iclone because of the idiot proof wall that is built into it; it has GREAT stuff, yes, but it only takes one so far, in my opinion. Not only that, but hello carpal tunnel etc, as with Maya, iclone is a drag fest. In Blender, you press g or r, and an axis if you wish and then wiggle your mouse, ah so light and airy... That said, I will be jumping on 8/4 because of the extra shinola that's in there, including the bring in any models/rigs, rig a dustbin, and all the stuff like drive with your ps4 controller or whatever. That stuff is great. the lip sync.... maybe it's better in 8. I do feel the iphone set up looks better than my webcam results, I tend to just lip sync in Blender as I've got my ways and I really hate all the fighting with iclone and then waste of time. If I could add a rokoko into it, then, we'd be3 well away because all of them together is like the A-team, and we don't take no lip from no suckers.

Iclone 8 is the best software for those who don't want to learn how to make 3d animation.If you don't have the basics, which Blender or any other software like Maya, Max or Cinema forces you to learn, as soon as you encounter a difficulty (and Iclone will come up with a lot of them when exchanging files with other software) you do not know how to fix the problem. It is still a great software to speed up production, but it is not replaceable for standard programs.

You cant compare with blender may ! Blender is the master .... Blender is the key of everything ( starting from creating a new bones , animation , render , motion tracking and so long ) ... AND IS ALSO FREE .....

Is Icon 8 free?

you can not really compage both software. iclone i almost only dedicated to render and animations the things you can do with geometry nodes in blender is simply crazy you dont have that in iclone.

it looks good but im a bit pissed I bought iclone 7 just before i even knew there was a new one coming, and upgrading is not cheap

They got the new 'footsteps thing' and the new WASD controllers. Sick to death of foot slides. If this new method sorts that out it will be money well spent :)
