Ah, Scenarios are back, can't wait.

I have ANNO 2070 for eco-bio things, let me build free. We bring tech from the future for what?

Oh come on, ecology in 1800? No way. This is a massive mistake. Look, I take it you can have diminishing returns on filds, but it should deninitely not affect the populace. People were still very poor and were glad, they didn't freeze their asses off in most places! There was basically zero interest in maintaining the populations of wild animals outside of game management and land was massively cultivated for food production! This belong's in to future settings, which I hope we'll visit in a couple of years too... What I'd like to see are more needs for the populations to meet, new specialised populations in more settings, synergies between universities, museums, zoos and botanical gardens, deeper and wider production chains, sometimes requireing items from more climates than two or more levels of refinement, even by sepcialists in some cases. I want to see the class struggle in the cities and how to resolve it (which alone could span a DLC) and try to manage it!
The 1800s were time of humanity waking up from a long intelectual slumber. Not era of society wide intelectual sleep deprevation we experience today and saw a bit in 2070 and later 2205! That's where ecological questions should have been and rightfully were front and center, but it is too soon for ecology in 1800...
Maybe fund research of Johan Gregor Mendel and discover genetics early (increasing farming output), help Marie Currie Sklodowska discover Radium and radiation (improved hospitals and get her a Nobel prize for it), or arbitrate the current fued between Thomas Alva Edison and Nicola Tesla (cheaper powerplants)! There were so many ways to explore and insert in to gameplay even more emmersion... And they transplanted current era problems in to hundreds years old past, when there were so much actual era specific material to work in to gameplay...

So cool taht anno 1800 expands more, it is my favourite anno to come out after 1404 and everything that makes it more complicated and deepens the gameplay is good

Anno 2070 2.0 I LOVE IT

It kinda bugs me that Anno series does not really seem to ascend the +1 and -1 mechanic. I love Anno but this is literally they only kind of mechanic the seem to be able to come up with. It's always just very crude and in your face, if you get what I mean.

Ironic how they are focusing on the new workd and eco balance, just like the real life NWO plans from the elite. Nothing new under the sun

I Just bought Season 3 and bang Season 4 saying hi.

I have never played this game. The only reason. I know this game is because of you when you popped up in my recommended. And I love your content very relaxing and entertaining. So for all this new stuff they are adding, I can't wait for you to start playing so we can see how the game has changed.

Is it wrong that we want to watch you repeatedly fail as well? Lol. This seems like a really good addition to the game. New lands would be fun, but adding depth is always a good idea

I played Anno 1800 for many weeks hours every day and it was exiting. Over the time I played less which I guess happens with many of us. In a way I like new scenarios and challenges. But on the other hand I think the game (yes, it's a game) becomes somehow too complex. First there was the old world and the new world. Then Cape Trelawney, then the Arctic, then Africa, and more DLCs. I think one by one they are great. But all together it becomes real work to stay on top of it all, especially if we don't have every day time for a couple of hours. I guess this is one reason why now I play little and watch your videos. 20 - 30 minutes enjoyment at a time - without it feeling like work.

Looking forward to seeing you play the new stuff. But keep your current mega city series going pls

Sounds superb. What I want in the game is a map editor. I understand the islands are all premade, but that's okay. All I care is that I could place those islands on the map as I see fit :D And ofc to select the resources on those islands like when you have research and you can change fertilities and mine types.

That sounds cool, can't wait to try the scenarios. Love the idea to develop the New world further, it always thought it got left behind once you had your recources secured. No more slaves of Crown falls...;-)
