ОтветитьNot the Texas 2step
ОтветитьYou're cute, but that's not the two-step.
ОтветитьI don't know what that was, but not the Texas 2-Step!! God Bless Texas!!
ОтветитьThe dance frame is offset... it's never danced toe to toe... the man has got to see where he's going.... the two step is danced on the downbeats... 6 counts of music... 1 2 3 5 or down up down down!
ОтветитьWrong, wrong, wrong! Partners are off set! And, please explain that “the four” count is a HOLD! This is not good instruction!
ОтветитьWrong.
ОтветитьGrew up in West Texas and have been frequenting the Dance Halls, Honky Tonks and sawdust floors of some of Texas' finest dance venues. This person has no damn idea how Texans dance. Though what is called the shuffle in DFW, same steps in West Texas called a 3 step. Could go into a depth analysis on this topic but would prefer to allow my 68 year old feet do the talking.
ОтветитьNope.
ОтветитьThe Texas Two Step is one full step on the woman’s left, 2 short steps or half steps on the woman’s right. I grew up with my family dancing this, had the best teacher, my step dad. Every time I was asked to dance from someone I didn’t know, the 2 step was just as I explained. I also have heard non Texans call the Texas Two Step the three step due to that it is 1 step and 2 short halves but the majority here who grew up going to listen to bands and country dancing called it the Two Step.
ОтветитьThat is NOT the Texas 2 step at all
ОтветитьI don't think so...
ОтветитьHave never seen the two-step done this way in any dance halls and I have been to a lot of them.
ОтветитьGrowing up in Texas DJing in a dance hall I don't know what that is but it ain't Texas Two Step
