You're right. The anti-gun lobby don't seem to realise this. Handguns are illegal in Britain, and that means everybody. Even with a firearms certificate, you can't legally own or even handle a pistol or revolver. The penalties for doing so are severe and can result in prison sentences. Yet, handgun crimes happen in Britain everyday. It's those criminals again, they just don't seem to follow the rules!

WHY NOT HAVE "CRIME FREE ZONES."  THAT WOULD COVER EVERYTHING FROM INFRACTIONS TO FELONIES.
