So if you do it wrong your waterproofing is done😩
ОтветитьJust save your time don’t remove the bottom part save your time put isopropyl alcohol top part in the battery wait till few minutes pull out the battery and put the new one
ОтветитьReplaced my first battery at Apple.
My second battery is now at 81% health, and I’m not replacing it again, I’ll just upgrade soon.
US based with an international trip in a few months, will buy it there for the SIM slot.
I’ve Had my IPhone 11 for Like 3 Years, and the Maximum Capacity Has Only Gone Down to 80%
ОтветитьOne of the reasons I dont like apple is the monopoly of only we can do repairs . This video is 1st class , thank you for such a clear solution .
ОтветитьGreat tutorial! My battery died while watching this video.
ОтветитьOh my good God.... What a palavour.... Apple make it so hard to change a battery... In fact they make it hard to do anything..... I remember when you pulled the back cover off your phone a plonked in new battery...
ОтветитьI would rather pry the battery off than remove the speaker and the taptic engine (vibrator). Otherwise you need a piece of tape to stick all the screws to in the right orientation. Nuts. Not worth it.
ОтветитьHow easy is this to do without all the ifixit stuff?
Hairdryer a no no?
I appreciate this!!! I’ve been thinking of fixing and replacing my battery as it’s current maximum capacity is 74% aaaa no I’ve noticed it’s been dying much faster lately. To take it to a replacement shop is expensive, so I’d prefer doing this myself. Very informative and simple to follow! Saving me like $200😂
ОтветитьOK, this does not look like the easiest thing to do.
ОтветитьI don’t have iPhone but i am still looking😅
Ответитьbruh that is not an easy repair lol
ОтветитьToo many steps.
ОтветитьI tried this and broke my iPhone 11 😢
ОтветитьYeah; “easy”
ОтветитьThank You!
ОтветитьThanks for this, been meaning to make time to replace my battery since it’s practically in critical mode in terms of health.
Granted, definitely makes me wonder how crazy it is since laptop disassembly…
i replaced my battery along with the charging port and when it put it altogether it wouldn't charge and i had a message saying that the phone doesn't recognise that it's a genuine apple product. any ideas?
ОтветитьWhy is this sooo satisfying 😢😅
ОтветитьOmg what a lot of work, all the fiddly bits and screws just to get the battery out. Cool video though but I think I’ll just take it to the pros 👍🏽
Ответитьridiculous! designed by selfish, small-minded micromanagers who want to control the entire revenue cycle of their product.
ОтветитьAfter watching this video, iPhone is not a good phone to own.
ОтветитьBroke my phone watching this, speaker does not come out how u describe, joke
ОтветитьHow much is a new battery?
ОтветитьI took my phone to a mall repair shop (not authorized) after repair the usual message comes up saying it's a unrecognized battery. The Face ID does work anymore tho my settings say the tru depth camera has been damaged and it has disabled faced id. Could it be possible this part could have been damaged during battery replacement? I try to talk to the repair guy but he tells me changing a battery has nothing to do with Face ID. But Face ID was working perfectly fine before the phone was opened up. He proceeds to show me that the front camera works therefore Face ID works but correct me if I'm wrong that is not the tru depth camera that the settings is talking about. I tried to explain this but he tells me how do if I know as if I don't know anything but I'm a pretty mechanically inclined person and watched plenty of these vids and have a good of understanding of what I'm seeing. It's really as if he's trying to tell some bs to get me to go away and he thinks he can do it because I'm a regular dude paying to get there phone fixed and hes the "expert"
ОтветитьHow do repair shops know in which direction to open these phones if they have never opened one up? Some swing open in other direction.
ОтветитьIs this battery already matched to the phone so you don't get message that it not original Apple part?
ОтветитьWhy does Apple not make all screw heads the same?
ОтветитьThis is only easy for people who have done this at least a couple of times, good think Europe is forcing cell brands to make replaceable batteries mandatory
ОтветитьWhat’s a stand-off screw?
ОтветитьApple is ridiculously greedy for setting up the battery this way.
ОтветитьI accidently punctured the battery and almost started a fire
ОтветитьA phone that requires a neurosurgeon to open. Neurosurgeon: - I would rather go back to skulls.
Ответитьi am just killing my fingers trying to remove the cover. that thing is bolted! i need to get a heating thing somewhere, there not even a slightest gap, no matter what i do.
ОтветитьMy iPhone 11 Pro Max is stuck in a boot loop randomly during normal usage. It randomly booted to home screen and I got to settings then it turned off and back to boot loop.
There was no spinning logo so I think it’s a battery issue and not a hardware issue.
On your website it states a battery replacement may fix a boot loop.. how likely is this?
Also my battery capacity was 83-84%
No physical damage to device and no sim liquid indicator triggered
Once you replace the iPhone battery. Remember to recalibrate the battery. If the new battery shows error or no health in the settings means the battery is not genuine and get it replace again
ОтветитьToo many steps/screw removals and types for my taste, prefer taking it to an apple service center for replacement! Yes I know it will be expensive, but my peace of mind is priceless!
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial!
ОтветитьWhat a complete scam, do this wrong and you will definitely need a new phone, Apple knew this would guarantee you just replacing phone_
ОтветитьHow did you manage to get rid of battery notification in the home screen as well as the battery health in the settings after the replacement?
ОтветитьIt’s super easy ! But remember , you can damage it, but be careful because it’s on two hinges, but be careful you will loose this part during the process…..yeah…. Easy
Ответитьno need to program the battery? not gonna be problem with error messages pr something?
ОтветитьForget the difficulty , the amount of specialised tools required to do is is just way too much. So it’s not worth to diy this.
ОтветитьWell I thought all was going well until I put the phone back together. Turns out I inserted the pick between the digitiser and the glass display, which is now kaput. Great.
ОтветитьI started watching this video with the intention of replacing my iPhone 11 battery. But I think I'll go to the Apple store to replace the battery. Actually I'll buy a new phone for $20,000.
ОтветитьNow I know why they charge what they do to replace a battery. 🙄
ОтветитьWhat's the point of removing the taptic engine and the speaker?
ОтветитьIs it a coincidence that I had the same phone
ОтветитьGreat video, but it doesn't seem that easy to do. At least not for me.
