Fix Stuck or Sticking Keyboard Keys - Laptop, Desktop Keyboard

Is it safe if i didnt dissamble the keyboard from the laptop ?

It's total nonsense.... I did for my brand new laptop g15 5520 few days back and then I am ended up new situation the entire keyboard isn't working also the mouse touch pad. Now I had to go for expensive replacement.. I am very unhappy and I am thinking how can I be so fool to listen to you.

I think you might find it works fine for a month or two, but WD40 (and similar) gradually dries to leave a very stubborn gum and that is really hard to remove. This happens with machine tools and experienced machinists hate anyone going near their machines with a can of that stuff.

Every website I've read said not to use WD-40 to unstick keyboard keys. WD-40 isn't a lubricant, it dries quickly, and when it dries, you will have zero lubrication, which means the key will stick again.

Thank you for this. My space bar was sticking and driving me bonkers. The WD 40 helped. It's not perfect but I can type without screaming profanities. In adition, I used a hair-dryer (one that had a cool air setting) to help with the drying after wiping it down with the paper towels.

I dropped my phone in the pool....used WD40..... perfect now

Now my whole keyboard is sicky from the WD-40. I have to press really hard for the keys to register. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Flux will also measure no conductivity but It's well known that flux can cause problems if not cleaned off of PCB after rework.
