A Tip to get good rolls ALWAYS: artifacts are complete rng while rolling in substats. So crit and Dec has same chance of rolling. Now you can take advantage of this. Try getting a double crit piece of your choice. After getting it look at the bad substrates of it. Try looking for those specific bad substrates in another artifact. Level them up and roll into those bad substat in another artifact. Now come back to your desired artifact and roll it and it should roll good. If you roll 4-5 bad substat in another artifact, you GUARANTEED 4-5 crit roll on this one.

someday ill produce a program or a math formula to put a score on an artefact about its probabilities for future procs and actual stats according to a goal and a character and its other artefact, fuck the number of variables

My Venti is Top 3% and his crit ratio is 96:106. He's top 3% because I accidentally gave him 2.1k ATK. Don't knock the Attack stats, and don't stress too much! I'm still hyperfocusing on him, but that's because I've already got decent sets for 5 healers (Baizhu, Kokomi, Bennett, Mika, Jean), 3 DPSs (Tighnari, Kaeya, Keqing), and 7 supports (Fischl, Xingqiu, Kazuha, Layla, Beidou, Chongyun, Traveler). I also have a set for Yanfei, but it's terrible, and a great one for Lisa, who's still lvl 40 for some reason 😅

Point is, build up 1-2 DPSs to carry you, then a few supports to allow for different team compisitions (important against bosses, you don't want to be like me fighting the cryo regisvine with Kaeya, Fischl, Chongyun, and Kazuha), and once you've done that, hyperfocus all you want! Now excuse me as i strongbox my stockpile of 200 VV pieces and cry at the constant ATK circlets and HP sands 😊

I think what should have also been said is that in rare situations the rainbow build, meaning 2-peace set and 3 pieces of different artifacts, can be the best build for characters who mostly care about attack and crit, like Yoimiya or Hutao

Its most easy domain to be done in sub 30seconds, just start challenge, run to the back corner, and do swirl/area geo damage

I like to wait and accumulate 7-8 trash artifacts at lvl 16
Then i use them to feed into promising pieces again and again.
Usually I hit the double XP bonus a few times along the way, which makes up for most of the lost xp.

Am I the only player whose been playing for a long time ( since a few months befor the Inazuma release) and never bothered to get any artifacts at all?

Basically, Genshin is my first Gacha game ive ever played, and the whole artifact thing overwhelmend me and I got through just fine without them. But I finally want to change that and get something so I dont have to struggle against fecking Hichillychurls.

My tip is: Don't be to hard on your artficats! Yes, they may not be perfect or even great, but having decent artifacts and still having fun at the game is better than trying to grind for a godroll and losing all fun at the game.

An other tip i don't think you talked about is using condensed resin, you'll get 2x artifacts every time instead of 1, it saves a ton of time !

BIG TIP:gambler set with kazuha wep sacrificial sword=fast recharge multi skill fast burst. Means more swirl, more swirl=more elemental dmg

What is the percentage based on in skill and burst. It just says skill dmg 1 hit this percent 2nd hit this percent and so on but what is that percentage based on ?

I think ppl sweat it too much. Game has no combat content anyway so why should you heavily min max?? Sure 40CV pieces feel great but 30 is good enough if you run solid secondary stats and most PPL have not enough ER anyway.

Just gonna say it, artifact farming is fun

I'd say there are 2 Artifact domains that should be considered the absolute most Resin Efficient in general. 1st being Emblem as stated: Energy Recharge is a very important stat for most characters and the set itself is very flexible. 2nd would be the Dendro artifacts domain: Dendro is one of the most casual/beginner friendly elements as it can dish out a lot of damage with fairly low investment. The Gilded Dreams set is also incredibly strong as a lot of characters want Elemental Mastery anyways. If you plan on using Dendro characters, this Domain is essential and will help build a ton of characters regardless of element as well (aside from Geo).

All of the other Artifacts are situational and don't have a very broad range of usage amongst the roster of characters. However, that being said, if there are specific characters that you are absolutely determined to use, it may be worth looking into what artifacts are going to be most useful for them and seeing if the second artifact set in the domain of the sets you're aiming for will be useful for any other characters you're building. An example being: Cryo and Hydro artifact domain (If you're building a Cryo character, chances are you also want to be building a Hydro character as well.) The more niche a set, the more worth it is to either strongbox it if available or just wait until you have your other important characters built.

It's important to note that the Marechaussee Hunter domain is ONLY resin efficient if you're building Furina. If you don't have Furina, the Marechaussee Hunter set doesn't provide much value as not many characters can reliably proc its effect. However, if you do have Furina, it ends up making that domain on of the MOST resin efficient ones as there are a ton of characters that can greatly benefit from the sets effects when used in a team with Furina, plus the Golden Troupe set works nicely on a few very versatile supports and not just Furina so any extra Golden Troupe pieces wouldn't just go to waste.

In order of priority I would say the domains would be - Without Furina: Emblem/Shimenawa => Gilded/Deepwood >> Character Specific / With Furina: Golden/Hunter > Emblem/Shimenawa => Gilded/Deepwood
