So happy I found this channel. Sometimes when I speak, I start going too fast (I think I try to prevent someone from interrupting, I hate that!) and I will mispronounce a word or even use the wrong word. It happens once in awhile at work and there’s always people who point it out and make fun of me. I get so embarrassed. I hate it!

Where is the training

I think recording our voice isn’t going to help much UNLESS we have a professional recording set up with a great mic and speakers/headphones because even on a new iPhone’s mics a deep voiced man sounds hollow and weak, so anyone expecting to sound good won’t.

I think to have a good speaking depends on good articulation and volume and clarity of your voice that can be practiced by speaking through diaphragm

How can someone talk about how to speak better and have a cut after each scentence. That just evicerates his credibility.

It's midnight, and I'm here for self improvement lol. I have a tendency to talk slowly, quietly, and mumble. Probably also a product of me not talking very much at all so I don't get much practice speaking properly.

When I speak I always say the same words and when I wanna to vary my mind goes blank and I tend to always say the same things. Am I the only one with this problem?

Why would I want to imitate someone who has a different vocal range? What if it’s someone who speaks too fast? Doesn’t take breathing breaks?

How would I know that the person I’m mimicking is speaking properly and wether or not I’m adopting bad habits?
