Do you only conduct the r46?
ОтветитьThat actually is not a lot of money in New Yor like really you're not actually making good money until you reach about the 150,000
ОтветитьNice story
Ответить<3
ОтветитьTrain Operators make more than Conductors. Unless you’ve been on for a long time, you’re not making $86k
ОтветитьCity Worker.
Ответитьawesome! i signed up for transit cleaner but i still haven't heard from them yet and its been a year now
ОтветитьShe's also responsible for the safe operations of the train in relationship with hundreds of other trains.... That's a stressful job.... of course she earns that much.
ОтветитьNow only if the NYC token booth clerks had her same attitude😳Subway excursions would be much nicer.
ОтветитьShe's a good girl !!!! If I close my eyes I could be listening to Mike Tyson ....!!!!
ОтветитьIncredible, that is 30,000 more than my mom who has a doctorate equivalent
ОтветитьTHERE'S NO WAY OUR DAILY SUBWAY WILL GIVE UP, WE NEED TO KEEP TRYING UNTIL WE REACH BEYOND TECHNOLOGY
ОтветитьEasy to use !!!!!
ОтветитьStill not enough to live in nyc 😂😂😂
ОтветитьShout out to all my TWU Local 100 Brothers and Sisters ! I did a little over 30 years there myself , retired right before Covid .
ОтветитьLove this video! Visited NYC for the first time this summer and loved how easy and efficient it is to get around the city using the subway versus having to drive everywhere like in SoCal where we’re from. Just 2.75 per ride and not have to pay for gas and not sit in traffic?? Hubby and I were like wow this is amazing 😂
ОтветитьNothing but RESPECT!!
ОтветитьThere was a conductor some time ago where on every stop he'd tell a little story and throw trivia in. Can't remember his name.
ОтветитьGood people, honest work!!!
Ya gotta love it!
Pointless Video, pointless job
ОтветитьThis was kinda my dream job in high-school..took the test at 18 in 2004 and scored in the low 90's ..never got a call back ...I'm a union ironworker now and earn a very good living but still wonder what if ...much respect to all mta workers
Ответить30 year experience 86k a year… in NYC
ОтветитьThis is my dream job, actually!
ОтветитьI thought she was in her 30s. Gorgeous human!
ОтветитьWhat a breath of fresh air Natasha is. Much respect for her.
ОтветитьThanks for giving giving inspiration to those of us who aren't so lucky.
ОтветитьThis job must require a lot of patience and the presence of mind. It signifies living in the moment. It's correct what she said this is not only a job it's a career.
Ответить😢another world map not showing New Zealand! Considering we love Thai food I think some acknowledgement us needed. That's said, still love your videos!
ОтветитьI don’t see that she did anything which a computer could simply do. Any many metro systems around the world are fully automated for this reason-Hong Kong as an example. She gets paid an insane amount of money for the work that she does. Starting ay $25/hr-$1000/wk-$50k/yr, going upwards of $75k after 6 years is truly a lot of money to make announcements, push buttons, and get some of the best benefits in the country. I know the MTA is trying to shill for the union here but at some point, the MTA really needs to worry about the fact that their pension plans are unsustainable and the entire thing is going to go belly up
Ответить3 million passengers a day - for comparison the entire amount of airline passengers in the whole COUNTRY is around 1.5 million. NYC subway does double that in a single city. Incredible.
ОтветитьSo in the USA there is someone who runs the train and someone else who assist people/opens and closes doors?
ОтветитьShe seems nice, but the job can be automated away and the MTA can save some money. The airtrain doesn't have a conductor or driver.
ОтветитьThis is the worst metropolitan in the world lol
Ответить86k as a Subway conductor?! What is the average income in NYC?
ОтветитьWow you still have conductors in NY , London Underground has had no conductors for nearly 24 years . JH
ОтветитьWhat a great piece! Natasha is amazing at her job! Thanks for sharing this video! 👊❤️👊
ОтветитьShe doesn't get paid enough for the job
Ответить$86,000 a year seems like a lot? Except she lives in one of the most expensive places to live in the country. Take everything you thought costs a lot of money? Throw those numbers out comparing it to living in metro NY. I left my job in metro NY twenty years ago because I was barely keeping my head above the water. I moved 100 miles away to find happiness. Where the cost of living is reasonable. I had to start over in my field. My only mistake in life was being born in NYC & living in metro NY. By the age of forty I had grown dissatisfied with life there.
Ответитьdirty city!
ОтветитьI want more stories on people working hard and earning and honest living. Sick of these celebrity millionaire/billionaire “what the day in the life of” BS that keeps getting promoted. We don’t have that lifestyle and probably never will, we want average joes & janes.
ОтветитьI have to ask, is making 86k a year in NYC like making 28k in rural America?
ОтветитьCongratulations I really miss my 6 train
ОтветитьIt's wonderful to see and hear positivity about the New York subway system. So many times we hear about the subway when something bad or negative occurs. Good video.
Ответитьi've seen her a lot on the Q recently. she's really a great conductor
ОтветитьIs 86k even a liveable wage in Brooklyn?
Ответить51? i would've never guessed!!
Ответитьi hope i see her when i visit NYC in two weeks!! So i can give her my high appreciation!!
ОтветитьMTA workers can make more $ if it wasn't for the fare jumpers that the Libtard DAs wont prosecute!
Ответить
