if we are performing create and update operation on radio button using same form for both create and update then what will be code for radio button condition to know that if user on create link then radio value should be blank just like we are using for name filed value="{{ isset($customer->name) ? $customer->name:''}}" like this what we should use for radio

If I am going to use like these <input type="radio" name="gender" id="" value="M" {{($customer->gender == "M") ? "checked" : ""}}> Male its not working ?
