from my experience as a compositor and roto/paint artist , Nuke and mocha(2d tracking) is the best tool.

great video.... kudos man... but on the software side you forgot Mari for texturing, dumb AF compared to Substance but ultimately much more in-depth than Substance is or will be... i doubt that GoT dragons were textured in substance painter.:-))) And for tracking you forgot the real standard and that is 3D equalizer.... otherwise great video...

Photoshop 1st, Maya 2nd or Blender... then Zbrush as it's GUI is unique to itself. Nuke isn't student friendly so unless you have a free license for it go AfterFX.

Thank u so much for the advice. I come from engineering field and been learning HOUDINI for few months and trying hard to master this software. I got no degree in animation so I am not sure I will get a Job now as FX artist.
