ОтветитьI hope someone can see this but do they care about hair color
ОтветитьThis video saved us!!
After trying 6 or 7 times unsuccessfully, we watched this video and it worked!!! 100% recommended technique!
Using the double tourniquet technique while having the patient hang their arm down helps me to find the small/deep ones.
ОтветитьInformative
ОтветитьIts very easy to find veins i find my veins better than a doctor cant find my veins as easily as i can one time my ex gf were getting a blood test so the doctor tried and tried to find a vein and didn't find it so my ex asked if she can help and she did it first try people who have used drugs IV are very good at that i have sometimes years ago when i used drugs with my friends daily i usually helped to inject to them because i had more experience than my friends i was 17-19yro and my friends were 17-15 yro i started using hard drugs when i was 16 and started to do IV sometimes when i was 17 and then started the daily iv use and now im 20 just turned this year and now im only using Subutex and trying to stop using it also people if you haven't injected and you use drugs never teach yourself to inject if you want to test it get someone who knows how to do it safely and don't continue i hated needles before but i still got addicted to injecting its very powerful feeling and because i have adhd and other problems i get easily addicted to things
ОтветитьIve tried 6 times now and they can never find my veins.
ОтветитьThank you so much 😊
ОтветитьI always drink tons of water before blood test.
ОтветитьI found this video was spot on & as I'm continuing to watch, i took note of the person's arm, noticing the lack of visible veins & was curious to see if u were going to be successful - what method u used ETC. . . . Otherwise, a great video with the instructions clear & easy to understand what he means.
HOPEFULLY 🤞🤞🤞 you can do a PART 2!
Do you have any experience with the vein finder device? Can you a make video of use of that also ?
ОтветитьThe cap trick is something I'll have to try on patients that I have to do ammonia tests on. To my surprise I've already been doing most of this--bending the elbow, turning the wrist ect. The only thing I haven't tried is using the cap to mark the area. I've heard some phlebotomists using their fingernail too but I always felt a little weird doing that...I'll give a shot one day, thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for yuo video
ОтветитьI used to just fish around in there a while till the patient started screamin
ОтветитьI have the hard veins.. You found the vein but never did the blood draw?
ОтветитьI had the plasma place turn me away because my veins are too small..... is that normal? I thought they would be awesome at it.
ОтветитьCan I drink Kool-Aid cherry? I do add water into it? Also can I drink naked juice it has water in there? Or should I drink just water before I donate blood or do blood work? Also how many hours should I start drinking water? Will a water bottle of 50.7 oz be enough? Also should I drink the water in room temperature? Can I get your direct email? My vien is so hard to find were I bend my arm at.
ОтветитьHow do I get my veins pop out more? Can energy drink cause my veins not to be find easy even though I drink water?
ОтветитьYou are good at iv that 😎
ОтветитьI tried this on my arm which was the hard one to find a vein and I FELT it doing this technique THANK YOU SO MUCH I will be practicing this to get really good at it and remember it!! amazing video THANK YOU again !!
ОтветитьKeeping the tourniquet on for over 4mins is just crazy to me teacher
ОтветитьIt's pretty difficult for fat people
ОтветитьGreat video. One question, why are the veins in cancer patients so difficult to detect? They present the most challenge....in such poor people.
ОтветитьBut the tourniquet was left for 4 min and a half!!!!!
ОтветитьAha…same technique i learn from my previous workplace and to this day, withdrawing blood is much easier.
ОтветитьHi. This is such a wonderful video. I got scolded each time I went for training. I wish I have a trainer like you. I have qns regarding "how to make a mark/tip on the arms?" I was told by using the alcohol swab but the cap, never heard before. Is this allowed under the CLSI standards? Appreciate much if you could reply. Thanks!
ОтветитьPointless if you ain’t draw the blood how we know if you actually found it
ОтветитьVein superficial hoti
Ответитьgreat tip using the cap, saved my life!
ОтветитьI'm trying to donate plasma, now I've donated before, and they found a vein before on me, and sat through a whole session, I go to another plasma center, no one can find a vein on me. These people are experienced phlebotomists.
ОтветитьMy instructor won’t let us landmark each others veins and that’s what I’m having trouble with. Remembering where the vein is after palpating 😢
ОтветитьI've been an RN for over 10 years and now finishing my doctorate to become a nurse anesthetist. Here is a little tip that may help that I just learned, and has helped me land some 14g and 16g IV starts.
Some providers like to put a slight bend in the needle to allow for a more shallow approach to a vein. They also will lift the vein up after they enter the vein and as they make the angle of approach less. This makes it less likely to pass the needle through the other side of the vein. The bevel is flat and not a cutting edge, so there is no worry about cutting the superficial portion of the vein by doing this.
Nice
ОтветитьGood
Ответитьmost of my viens are gone and i know were to get blood frrom or were to put a cannula ,,my 2 best viens are at a very shalllow angle ,alot of soo called expert blood takers never listen ,,i then have to threaten them with the g,m,c tribunral as neglect and care
ОтветитьI think its better if you actually draw the blood.
ОтветитьAs long as BP is good, a little GTN helps
ОтветитьI'm very grateful for your videos. They've been a helpful addition to my studies towards getting certified. Thank you!
Also, I noticed you have Paleo on your wrist! Interested in your meaning of it🙌🏽
This works; I have been successful 99% of the time since I started applying this technique 👌 thank you
ОтветитьJust came across your channel and I subscribed to it.
Nothing messes up your day like missing a vein...you're going along successfully drawing patient after patient and there's that one you miss and (maybe it's me...) ruins the streak and then I feel like a failure.
This is a great tip, the marking with the cap. Can't wait to watch more videos.
Never too experienced to learn something new.
I opt to using the hand veins when I can't feel his/her veins in the median cubital fossa
ОтветитьDude…..Cephalic vein is on the outside, basilic on the inside toward the body.
ОтветитьIts more than 2 mins and the tourniquet was not removed😅
ОтветитьI hope doctor know how to draw blood properly before drawing patient's blood. I got purple bruise under my skin at two places that he draw TT. I already told him the location that usually doctors draw my blood. but he does not listen. And it was hurt more compare to other doctor that draw my blood before this. And the worst is he cant get my bloood out enough for tests 😭😭😭😭
Dear doctor, please listen to your patient opinion as well to avoid all of this things from happen TT
Thank you so much I am currently attending school now so embarrassed my first time drawing I did not get any blood
ОтветитьI have no visible veins in my hands and arms
