nice but I prefer 360 cameras- I reframe the footage and I get better action (biking etc) shots. I just wish 360 cameras had better footage..but they are fun for sure. I have a gopro 9...barely use it

I saw on an Amazon review that there only certain phones that are compatible to setting it up. Idk if there's a list somewhere for what phones can do it. I'd like to get one for my cousin for his birthday, but not if he can't even set it up.

Dont bother with DJI. I bought a camera from them which has not been delivered. When i contacted 'customer support' i got no support, just an email ans an attachment with a 'missing item' claim form for DHL couriers and a requestthat i contactthe police to reportthe missing item and get an incident number from them. I completed the form and sent it to the email address on the form and it was returned as an error 'address unknown'. I contacted DJI customer support to ask what the problem was with my delivery and the DHL claim form. DJI customer support just sent me the same email asking me to complete a claim form for DHL and to contact the police.
A terrible company only interested in gouging mone out of the public and doing nothing to help when there is an issue. I am contacting my solicitor in the morning to start a claim against DJI in the small claims court. If the camera does show up in the meantime i will return it immediately because there is no backup nor after sales support from this dodgy company.

If GoPro 12 will still require Media Mod to connect an external microphone I will get Action 4 as I can't deal with those expensive extra step that GP has set for us...

Does Dji Action 4 Support Orther Wereles Mic (Type C) ?

I heard the Action 4 can finally do a external mic and external power using a cell phone USB splitter or mic adapter that has a Power Delivery USB C passthru?
Maybe that's something you could test out :-)

You have a chapter on Physical features but I didn't see where the USB port is or where the memory card goes or how these two areas are waterproofed.

DID THE ACTION 4 FIX THE BAD FOCUS ISSUE THAT THE ACTION 3 HAD ?

I have the action 4, and my ND filters filter from the 3 does not fit. Looks like the screw diameter is a bit bigger on the 4. Anyone has the same issue?

Still using the Osmo Action 1 for all of our videos, can't wait to get hands on with the 4.

How much it weights what’s the size?

Still rocking Osmo Action 1, the heart of Osmo Actions camera is still using the same cpu. The only changes are the sensor and aperture, mic grill, front screen and smaller review screen.

Will wait for Action 6 or 8.

will my samsung fast chargers work to charge the osmo action4 battery pack? I have a 25 and a 45 Amp charger cube.

Funny thing: the filter thread size is different... however, in DJI store, the filter set for sale is claimed to be compatible with both Osmo Action 3 and 4. Any explanations?

I got an Action 4 today. Just set it up and did some simple test videos. Was going to get a 3, but when I heard that the 4 was coming out soon, I decided to wait. More money, but decided it was worth it to get the newest model with a larger sensor.

Great video. You covered almost everything I wanted to know except one thing ... how does it perform with an external microphone? Dongle? Sound?

That is very important to my use case as I use this for moto vlogging and one of the main reasons I like the GoPro Hero 11 Black is the sound quality even with the dumb dongles. I also have Insta360 ONE RS and the sound is not as good with that, even though the video quality is good. So, my primary Action Cam is the Hero 11 Black but it is not trustworthy with the mysterious odd lockup due to whatever (not overheating!).

I just got my Action 4, but I couldn’t find noise reduction and sharpness adjustment at all!!! They’re not included in the factory firmware, and I’m not sure if it there is an update for this. If I activated it, then found there’s no update for these settings or the update doesn’t meet my requirement, then I couldn’t get the refund at all, this is not the right way to sell a product, hope you can contact DJI and let them do this better, update the factory firmware to include all the features you guys are promoting.
