69,000 bucks for what for battery operated car and pollutes more than combustion all this battery crap cars are being shoved down own throats because of communist democrats and you say lower price is because they tried to rip people off and no one bought EV so be honest it sucks all EV sucks EV is when you are ready to die it doesn’t have any fun iboring
ОтветитьEveryone wants one or the other. Simple Gas cars are terrible in city driving... Buy a Lucid for city town driving/local highway driving. Then buy a gas car for long distance highway driving out of town. The end. Best of both worlds and most likely the best way to save time/money
ОтветитьSo this over the i5 edrive40?
ОтветитьBut no maintenace. No oil change and bullshit….😊
ОтветитьNo glass roof mean better A/C cooling…
ОтветитьI saw white one of these on the road today for the 1st time and didn’t know what tf it was. That bish is beautiful
ОтветитьCheapest model with a heat pump awd or rwd
ОтветитьAwd
Ответитьsigh
Yeah...still kind of pricy. I'm good.
thanks,
The fit and finish is 🤢
ОтветитьThat Lucid is just Beautiful, for real i am amazed!
ОтветитьIt is not the most efficient EV. It doesn't even have a heat pump and that's why you get a shitty range in winter. Tesla Model 3 RWD is the most efficient EV. Heck, if you want to compare it with the luxury one, the Model S LR would have more range in the same winter condition. Lucid is just an over-engineered* car which is great if the company survives. They loose so much money on every car they sell, it is not sustainable without Arabs' oil money.
*over-engineered, yet has a lot of shortcomings. 1) I already mentioned about lack of a heat pump, plus no heat scavenging for the cabin. 2) Ultra-high voltage battery pack (~900V when full) causes older Electrify America charging units to go haywire (Kyle's channel has a lot of coverage). 3) again, lots of software issues. Even the carplay looks awful and small on that curvy screen. What kind of afterthought that was? 4) The HV battery pack doesn't do a good job in 400V charges. When Tesla opens up the supercharger network, these cars can be charged only at 40-50 kw at those chargers which is the largest charging network in North America. Other 800V architecture cars have faster speeds, such as Taycan has an optional 150kw converter for their cars. Some clever designs switch battery voltage from series to parallel which basically gives you 400V pack for charging at full speeds. So, these cars are not perfect at all. They have their issues. I would personally hold my money out of them until they became profitable. Last thing you want to have a car and the brand has gone bankrupt.
you know it is a matura company when they don't price at 69,420
ОтветитьSharp looking unit
ОтветитьGood to see they’re offering a version for us “common men.” I’ve walked past the Newport Beach showroom many times, afraid to touch these $200k beauties. The new lease deals are pretty tempting.
ОтветитьI love this Car I wish am Rich I will have own one , beautiful Car for $70.000 Dallars, Sheikh of Saudi Arabia please can you Gift me one for free.
ОтветитьDo you guys think Lucid as a EV company can survive and thrive like Tesla among all the other competitors?
ОтветитьHas Lucid adopted the North American charging Standard?
ОтветитьI saw the car who were behind me the car it was a man driving a car. I look a look up is the real Car he was behind you doing the guy driving he was behind me and Car are watching.
ОтветитьThey have to drop the price of the sapphire
ОтветитьThe Wheels look like they came out of WalMart.
ОтветитьLong live lucid. I hope the company thrives. Great looking cars and I’m not an EV fan.
ОтветитьIs the consumer version going to let you slide it and turn the traction control off?
Ответитьgoing bankrupt
ОтветитьI’ve driven a couple and it really is the best car in the world
ОтветитьLooks absolutely atrocious from a design POV.
Ответить"What can be, unburdened by what has been." K.H. 😂
ОтветитьLucid is so sneaky. They would scam me out of my $300 deposit as they would not honor the $69K price tag a year before now because there's no demand, they lower the price to $69K. Keep the change you filthy animals.
ОтветитьI can’t fathom the positivity in these comments. I own one. 6 months. I’ve never hated a car so much in my life. It’s horrible. It is insanely fast. Sure. But what EV isn’t? Suspension is tuned to be really good up until about 5/10 and after that it’s exposed to not have been tuned by real car folks. Bumps mid turn expose a ton of lateral wallow in the suspension. Insane build quality issues. Horrible software. Can’t wait to get rid of it when our lease is up.
ОтветитьGrossly overpriced in the EU. Even in Switzerland with almost no taxes on top they charge +50% on top of the US-Price. Its 103.400 USD here. Base price, no extras added. Not worth that kinda money, sorry.
Ответитьall range observations made are common to all electric drivetrain vehicles. not exclusive to Lucid.
ОтветитьI saw one of these while driving on the road and thought to myself, “that’s a nice looking car, I wonder who makes it”. Later that day I began seeing a bunch of ads for that car all over social media.
Ответитьthe main problem with this car or Lucid in general to me, and i know a lot of people will agree with me is the software
the UI design looks slightly outdated(?) and sluggish, as if they use a chip from 2010
They should make a range optimized automatic cruise control that will balance speed with efficiency based on weather and charging rates. It's a road trip, not exactly Gumball. Just let it do it for you.
ОтветитьI noticed "Ride the lightning". Excellent choice!
ОтветитьYah Mo Be there!
Ответитьeewwww, carpet on the dash
ОтветитьLooks dated and no self driving. No thanks
ОтветитьHad a professor who said Lucid Air was better than Tesla, I began to defend Tesla regarding the features. He held up his hand and replied; I have both.
ОтветитьThey need to sell more...
ОтветитьBattery cars already peaked…
ОтветитьOnly issue is charging it on a road trip....
ОтветитьI wonder if the efficiency gained by driving 70mph on the highway would offset the time lost in charging and net an overall shorter trip.
ОтветитьLucid is almost bankrupt….and still pushing cars….wow. What happens to warranty when they mo longer exists
ОтветитьPutrid Air
ОтветитьAbsolutely not sustainable how they lose money on each car ...bankruptcy in the around the corner no matter how they fudge the numbers.
ОтветитьDo they have titanium battery plate protection? Hyundai cars are all suffering because of not having it
ОтветитьI believe their future is likely a merger with another Brand - Rivian , Nio or Geely etc
ОтветитьPagan cars aren't the future for all. Not enough earth for these giant battery packs! Besides these single gear pagan cars are langweilig!
ОтветитьThis is really fantastic car. Their sales and marketing sucks, but other than that, amazing vehicle.
Ответить
