The guy is really great but God Damn his Parkinson is bad
ОтветитьWhat a gem. Love this guy.
ОтветитьStill bitter about some of the Fraudulent NASA “Myths” and Pseudo intellectual Propaganda perpetuated to ever support this Guy or anything associated with M.B. . From Socialism and “Woke-isms “to unproven Theory pushed as Fact, Academia is in Dire straits due to Such People.
ОтветитьSocial Media needs more content with old Masters like this. Thanks for posting.
Ответить"mean while it's got a rudder' perfect, I think i found my spirit animal!
So much experience in design i wish i had half his skills.
Ed reminded me of my late grampa, he died before 3d printing but he would have made all these kinds of tools and toys
ОтветитьWow I love Steamboat Ed so much 😭
ОтветитьHey, um...don't mean to be a worywart, but a lot of people are going to try printing those outlet covers he's got out of PLA... which will be a fire hazard, since PLA is flammable. You need to print with a higher-heat plastic (PEI?) if you want to stay safe and up to code.
ОтветитьEd has to learn how to do measurements properly, and what wasn't a shit job was designed by someone else (being the boat frame). If you are impressed by this then you have no clue what's real 3D designers are up too.
ОтветитьAmazing!
!
Those not clamp clamps, I really could see them as complient print in place mechanism...
Ответитьthat cap-tivator is so clever. great to see people like him :)
ОтветитьWooo great guy. Loved his projects. I want Cap-tivator please
ОтветитьThat baby drill press looks like a must-have! Even if you have a full size drill press, having a desktop one sounds like a dream for tiny things
ОтветитьIncredible!
ОтветитьA very cultured fella
ОтветитьThis guy is great 💯 the og is all over the new tech
ОтветитьEd’s a treasure. I love that he’s jumped to 3d printing.
ОтветитьEd is the shit
ОтветитьWhat a cool guy. He's not just a maker, he's a true inventor.
ОтветитьThis guy is awesome, best of luck with his creations, i hope they fuel his economy in retirement
ОтветитьI want a fully 3d printed 3d printer!
ОтветитьGotta make a trireme with that modular rower thing.
ОтветитьWhat a great video Norm !! This guy was a born mechanical engineer genius. ❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI hope I'm ever as smart, kind, and cool as Steambot Ed when I get Gray....er.
ОтветитьThis was awesome. Steamboat Ed is a treasure.
Thanks to anyone, and everyone, who shone the light on Ed. I am so glad to know about him.
My guy A Dot Savage!
ОтветитьSo good to see you promoting small scale makers.
ОтветитьI want to be his friend.
Ответитьed is such a great guy. met him at the san mateo fair and still have the “turbonut”
ОтветитьLove what Ed is doing and giving out to all of us!
ОтветитьI’ve been trying to get my 3d printer working again. I have an ender 3 pro, and I replaced the springs with rubber mounts, and put on a new extruder because mine was a bit messed up. Now I can’t get an filament to stick, and I’ve previously used it and it’s been fine. No clue what the issue is.
Ответить👍💛
ОтветитьSind doch Simple Sachen
ОтветитьThis guy us great. I could spend hours talking with him.
Ответитьhow would we get a maker faire were i live that be cool tp see and have
ОтветитьIt's been too long since I've been to a maker faire
ОтветитьProtect this man at all costs!!
ОтветитьDoesn't seem like a very accurate drill press. Maybe it's useful for overcoming tremors.
Ответитьtotal bullshits...
ОтветитьThis dude is awesome! He has so much enthusiasm and passion for making things and I wish him the best. Age is the great equalizer and it sucks when those who are young at heart get brought down by our limited bodies… but he’s going into old age kicking and screaming and using engineering to continue to do what he loves! I respect that.
I’m less than half his age but I have lung cancer so I understand having things taken from you because your body gives up on you… he’s got more willpower than I do… that’s for sure.
Massive thanks for this web hosting info! Ive experienced Bluehost and HostGator, however Cloudways with TST20 coupoon is the jackpot!
ОтветитьThe man's a genius such a shame about his tremmor but amazing to see hes overcome it
ОтветитьGreat job, Ed!
ОтветитьNEED MORE OF THIS CONTENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXCITING!
ОтветитьVery cool! I designed a modular battleship in highschool, but was pushed away from design. I got back into it when I hit 30 and I'm slowly designing some really specific, custom solutions and it's been a blast. This guy and his creations are a total inspiration! So cool to see his creativity and problem solving skills.
Ответитьlove the rowboats
