I can seem to get the bundles to work, and even if I turn stuff on or off, nicehash overrides my setting, ultimately leading to an overheating shutdown. I am open to other mining software that can have overclocks set after optimized in HiveOS.

Hello! I have only one problem. When i boot the USB with the nicehash OS, the program autostart, and benchmark all the algorism at the same time. That makes my RIG voltage up till it crash and turn off. Is there any config to stop the autostart, so i can select the algorism and the OC first? Thaks a lot !!

The profitability calculator in NiceHash does not take into account the cost of electricity, so it is absolutely meaningless. At the same time, different algorithms have different electricity costs. Therefore, only the algorithm that gives more net profit can be profitable. And this is not taken into account, useless OS.

Hi! Is there a way to force it to only use VGA out? Seems like I can only use that with Octominer X9 (using 6x Rx6800) for some unknown reason. HiveOS is running well as it only use the VGA out.

Having all of the same GPUs is good for starting with baseline overclocks, but I have found more often than not that identical GPUs can be pushed to their maximum potential with different overclocks. Sure it isn't simple to do this and is very time consuming to find the sweet spot, but aggressive overclocks ensures having an optimal hashrate.

There is also some benefit to having a large rig consisting of different GPUs. Such as finding a problematic GPU that is causing instability. I have used the older version of NHOS and recall having a more difficult time isolating what is causing my rig to reboot. Even with HiveOS it was difficult honing in on a specific GPU causing issues when they are all the same GPU and you can't identify it by name. Perhaps with this version of NHOS rig stability is more resilient when a single GPU is having issues.

Thank you for the guidance. I was able to do as you described. I flashed not usb drive but a basic WD Blue ssd drive, I had to assign letters to some partitions to be visible in Windows. Also I selected the slot most close to the built into Motherboard display port, it was the upper one in my rig, which is based on the old Dell pc with splitters and risers. So far so good. Most importantly to quickly change fan speed, 1 of my 306tis shut down overheating with standard settings.

I wish they could add Chia farming to that nee OS. I run my rig on Windows because I do Chia farming and Gpu mining on the same rig.

You should lock your memory clocks at 810Mhz. Here's how: 1- Shut down your miner. 2-Open a command prompt as admin and run this command to lock the clocks on all your GPUs "nvidia-smi -lmc 810" (exclude the quotes.) 3-Restart your miner and your power usage should drop 50 percent. :)

Hmm, i have my 3070s running 490mh @ 55w on hive

Very cool video. it's a little bit complicated. For now i use windows 10. Miniz1.9.z5b, Bzminer 12.1.1 and lolminer 1.63 are the best for mining now. For kaspa on LoLminer i get 395mh/s at 51 watts in the software. For miniz i mine BTG at 175 sol for 300watts with my 3090!
