She's not considering a lot of factors, like those with auto immune diseases, eating disorders, or those who live in food deserts.
ОтветитьI am allergic to so many types of vegan food like nuts, beans, pees, and other things I don't know the name of, and I love meat. Therefor I think I will not become a vegan.
ОтветитьWhy vegans hate her?
Because she thinks for herself and talks sense instead of just being another screeching mindless drone of the cult incapable of individual thought.
Saúde
ОтветитьI will say that as a former Seventh-Day Adventist, I can say that living the dietary lifestyle was helpful. I left on fundamental differences in beliefs, but while I was still SDA and vegan, I feel like I had more energy and generally felt healthier. It might be something I re-adopt ~
Ответитьwow, eye opening. as a meat lover who grew up with steaks but wants to focus on healthy foods. this is eye opening. i don't like it tho and idk how ill change my life long habit.
ОтветитьIsn't it better though to get your nutrients from whole foods vs supplements though?
ОтветитьThe discussion should be more about quantities.. 300-500g meat (unprocessed ) per week is fine…..half an egg/day is fine…more is very risky..,etc etc…Olive oil is better than butter…but nuts by far better…( studies with hard endpoints are showing this….MD Belardo knows this also…BTW promoting olive oil as health food is as wrong as promoting no oil!)
ОтветитьWatching this while eating eggs
ОтветитьMeat or bust no cap as a species we have been eating meat for thousands and thousands of years
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤
Ответитьbut some vaccines contains animal products right? how do you feel about it as a vegan?
Ответитьshe said we dont need animal products to be healthy. so unhealthy then? just because you think that doesnt give you rights to impose your vegan life style on others. thats vegan agenda
ОтветитьYea but making vegan wont make you immortal. And its better to live the life of your life? than to be sad vegan and standing at own grave. like i prefer to eat mean and die unhealthy than be some herbivorous animal being healthy and die. like if there are carnivorous animals and almost no one trying to change their died to plants then why vegans and vegetarians trying to do? its like telling me i cant be homo because its unhealthy for me. even if its still my life not yours. and i hate when people trying to impose their lifestyle on me. you dont want to eat meat then simply dont and leave us meat lovers alone.
ОтветитьIdk why she was attacked by vegans. I though meat lovers such as myself would attack her. Because frankly shes trying to impose her life style on us. And you know how it went with religions
ОтветитьShe says "need" a lot. This is irrelevant.
ОтветитьWhat's up with her eyes?
ОтветитьIf i go vegan can i get crazy awesome eyes like Danielle? really... they look unreal.
Ответить😂I can’t stand watching her who keeps playing with her hair or touch her face just keeps moving around I just can’t take her serious
ОтветитьThat eye filter tho
ОтветитьGet rid of processed sugar. Get rid of processed oil. Your health will improve.
ОтветитьSo meat does not have benefits? Only plant-based?
ОтветитьWhy does she look like a AI tho?
ОтветитьIm glad that there people like her, who understand their actions and not just follow something that some celebrity does
ОтветитьI was so on board until the 12 minute mark where she practically said "That study is wrong, because this other study slightly disagrees with it."
No, that's not how science works. You can't just pick a study you like, then use it as "proof" that a study with a different outcome was wrong. You actually have to analyze the studies. Figure out where both may have gone wrong, look at where the studies agree or disagree, then use that as evidence as well. She just picked the study that aligns with her beliefs, and discredits everything else. That's not good enough, and frankly, giving medical advice to people based on a single study is reckless and irresponsible.
Vegan diet is great but it is definitely not for everyone from health perspective. I don't feel they really mentioned it. Some people lack enzymes to digest well fibre, fermentable oligosaccharides, fructans, galacto-oligosaccharides etc. They cannot eat legumes and many fruits and veggies without ending up with pain, diarrhoea etc.
ОтветитьShes wrong i think because heat activates oils, some like in peanuts burn the throat, and that is why eggs dont cross into the cardiovascular system. Olive oil can make you feel run down, that'll hit first.
ОтветитьWhen plant protein costs and tastes the same as meat protein ill switch until then
ОтветитьI do find it interesting that she says that we can get everything we need without eating animal products then says we can take B12 supplements. Supplements are not food and while I absolutely agree that a more plant based diet is healthier, a healthy Vegan diet is hard and expensive.
ОтветитьI noticed a lot of redness around your eyes and I wasn't sure if that was from some condition or just makeup or maybe rubbing your eyes. I know this was posted a couple years ago.
Ответить"There are zero health benefits to eating red meat" she says...so, we're not going to mention that red meat is very high in protein (obviously), iron, zinc, the different B vitamins and so other important nutrients. Then, of course, there'll be slight differences when comparing grass-fed and "organic" meat qualities vs. conventional meat vs processed/unprocessed. With her being a vegan, it was clear that a lot of her points were heavily biased and had a bit of skew to them, which, I wasn't expecting otherwise. It would've been more interesting if this conversation followed a loose debate-type structure since a lot of what she said could've been easily refuted...not that I have anything against veganism, to eat to their own, but facts are facts.
ОтветитьFood accessibility is a huge factor in folks not having a healthy diet. Also fresh fruits and veggies dont get subsidized. But corn and wheat? All the subsidies because its cheap to produce. Corporate interest is ruining healthy lifestyles for money.
ОтветитьShe’s my aunt!
ОтветитьY'all don't talk about the relationship between sugar and cholesterol.
Ответитьshe is still wrong though. there are carnivores who are healthier than people who eat plant based. so something isnt adding up.
ОтветитьBelardo is a conventional medicine doctor that benefit from patient taking drugs and undergo surgery.
ОтветитьAs a vegan I can see why she is disliked. Being an ethical vegan means not using animals for any reason whatsoever. I don’t hate this doctor, I just wouldn’t take what she says as a vegan as truth. Now as a doctor that’s different, I’m sure she knows what she is talking about physically. But yeah, I understand why vegans are upset.
ОтветитьDanielle is clearly a doctor first, vegan second. Which may put her in hot water with some fellow vegans, but it better serves her patients.
ОтветитьNot me eating red meat right now 😂
ОтветитьI don't think taking out all meat is safe for all. Especially me, I'm on dialysis and meat has protein
ОтветитьI'm vegan and totally agree with Dr. Delardo's approach. I didn't become vegan overnight. I gradually cut out meat and animal products, with cheese being the last one. By eliminating animal products at 59 years old, I lost 30 pounds, lowered my cholesterol to 135 (from 200), and was able to stop taking blood pressure meds. Every step you take toward eliminating saturated fats (including vegan ones like coconut oil) is a step in the right direction.
ОтветитьNice video but the filter on her eyes is annoying af.
ОтветитьPeople with low forms of thalassemia have been recommended to supplement their diets with red meats to avoid medications. And vegan people are amongst the worst kind of superstitious loonies out there, vaccines being just a part of it, but it's like, "oh, you can cure cancer with essential oils and this tea" and you can just be like, "aha, this is how science confirmed evolution of the human brain was pushed forward with cooked meat, the lack of protein is clearly shown...". It's sad because it shouldn't even happen, it should be about a healthy life style and ethics (which I don't agree with, but again, ethics are the most subjective thing ever)
ОтветитьI am slowly going back to vegan but for ethical reasons
ОтветитьI can't pay attention to anything she's saying because of that stupid filter.
Maybe we should be talking about people's need to use them...🤔
Lmao and here I am on the carno diet after being vegan with regulated portions and only gaining 100lbs while exercising daily but weekends.
Now having lost 10lbs so far in 2months, slightly double portions and working out the same and my health stats are getting better.
But I’m sure I’m just a single case.
I’ve been more alert, happy, my depression and anxiety is gone. It was debilitating for me though. My ADHD symptoms have lessened as well.
I miss my veggies, I don’t eat fruits much ever. But I will slowly incorporate veggies back in at some point.
I’ve cut out all my breads and cereals, cookies, sugars. But that’s been gone for a long time.
I don’t do oils or butter. I reuse the grease from bacon and hamburger.
Only lasts a few days but it’s great.
Example, I’ll cook bacon first then cook my eggs in the same pan.
I, for now, feel eating my food’s food isn’t good right now lol. But this isn’t forever..
I’ll be going back to keto as soon as I can get back down to a healthy ish weight.
Misleading title. You are not talking about veganism. Vegan is about the animal as much as it is a health concern. Plant-based and vegan are not the same thing. Regarding the vax, vaccines are one thing, this experimental MRNA drugs are not the same thing.
ОтветитьI can’t take her seriously with that filter.
ОтветитьThe assertion that there are no health benefits to consuming red meat is simply wrong. And the speaker knows it is simply wrong. This assertion undoes a good chunk the credibility the speaker established in her very reasoned first seven minutes.
Ответить
