for valid pullback ,if a candle sweeps high or low with wick is enough and no need of body close . am i understood right as in illustration and real chart there is difference

Hello, I am wondering maybe you can answer my question: I have two bearish candles one after another, candle A is the candle prior to candle B, candle A has a long solid body and a super long wick below it, it is then succeeded by a candle B, candle b also has a long solid body but it close way higher than the wick of candle a, which candle should i reference for pullback?

I still don't entirely get it. I see candles breaking lows and highs without clear direction showing valid pull backs, it may make a new high or low in that range but it ends up making a bigger range so no valid setups
