I think that the bag in the Rider Waite Smith does have an Eagle and the eye of Horus on it it’s just that reproductions have got pretty blurry. I have a blushing fool and I’m pretty sure that’s right. I think the reproductions have made the symbology more challenging. The BOTA deck is a lot clearer. Thank you for this. 🤗

I think that at the left side of the bag he carries, the horizontal lines represent JACOBS LADDER

Most people assume the BOTA deck is copied from the Waite deck. This is not true. Both decks are taken from an unpublished deck, available only to members of certain mystery schools. As Case and Waite couldn’t give us the original deck they both published their own versions. Some of the keys are more or less identical, some completely different as this shows where they agree or disagree on the deeper meanings of certain keys.
