Plugins used:
JS: Oscilloscope Meter
JS: Frequency Spectrum Analyzer Meter
JS: Sine Sweep Generator
JS: Tone Generator
JS: DC Filter
JS: -12dB dim (ReaPack)

and the plugin under test is SoundToys Sie-Q

Question: did you say that DC filter does the same thing as a DC offset compensator? I don't think that's correct. I believe that if DC offset is wrong, it affects all frequencies the same, so if you are just doing a steep high-pass filter, then you are only removing low frequencies and their DC offset as a side-effect.

what should be the starting point to use this plugin ? like you have kept 1024 as the value is this specific to a certain scenario , do you change it ? keep it constant ?

Thank you very much! How can I temposync the oscilloscope tho? Need to see the phase of my Kick and Bass in detail and in relation to the grid :)
Can that be done with these plugins or what could I use for this task on linux?

That last swipe sounded beautiful. Reminded me of a sound in that Maniac Mansion videogame from the 80s, but I can't remember what

ReaPack?? Could you please add a link? I haven't followed all the latest changes with Reaper.fm (yeah, shame on me) and I'm not sure the ReaPack I have in mind is the same as what you're talking about... Thanks!

Is there a function in Reaper that can 'Detect Cuts' like the function in Logic? How logic can just auto cut and make markers for say a commercial movie file, detecting each cut within the movie file.

How to make a smoothed plot and freeze it so you can see the frequency response in total?

Do you really use Automap and it's plugin wrapper with Reaper?

Yes, that'spretty scientific way to examine plugins. I also sometimes put a track with a plugin and a copy of it without a plugin out of phase to literally hear the difference. That's a good way to compensate for a lack of ear training :D
