Hello Friend ..... i try your method .... or better i tryed ... i just cant find the mission ... i dont know if i need to grind reputation to open this kind of mission .... please give me a hand ... thks!

ha ha in 2023 you can just open the door and loot everything per cycle.

Appears to have changed, need E breaker to open door now and even though you pick up mission item it doesn’t register and spawns you back in locker so need the horizons checkout 👍

Hi. Very nice video. Now, you are making a common mistake found in many such help videos. You are using a suit with night vision and other upgraded gear, while making a video supposedly for players without said upgrades. You need to make the video in the same gear as your target audience so it looks realistic to them what they might expect.

For me it did not works. I'm at the right irregular markers ( the blue one ) but when I take the mission good it do not trigger the completed mission so I have to go to Horizons to get out of the container and then I lost 14 weapons schematic.

I have actually got one better idea to add to this, when your backpack is full, log to main menu and back and the second you spawn and before the containers spawn, Jump really high and you will land on top of the container after it has spawned. Go to your ship and empty your backpack, then gain entrance to the containers again and continue to fill up your backpack again. If you have an alt that you can double box with then have them get into another container and double your farming rate. I got over 600 in one day doing this. Wait till you have all the weapon schematics you want before collecting the mission material.

Alternatively, if you get stuck in a container, you can double jump right after you logged in and before they respawn around yourself. Got out that way when I got stuck.

If this method still works, I'd suggest to store the goods from every container to your ship/SRV on the first run, before locking yourself inside.

Still works as of 2022/08/21 also using the method to side-step when loading begins to bring back your full loot.
However, I noticed that missions of the type procurement are very rare. Mostly it is freelance, esp. in the relevant anarchy systems.
Second, I had to search long time to find any mission with "hidden cache".

how pathetic it is that players feel compelled to brake the game because the grind is so ridiculous

This doesn't work anymore. Once you pick up the mission item you remain locked in the container even upon quitting to desktop. I had to load into Horizons to escape, which of course caused me to lose all the items I had picked up.

Hmmm what if there's 3 containers in the site and u lock urself in the wrong container? :D

What if u log into Horizons? Will u lose all the wep schematic?

Hi Dave, thank you for this. Just to add, to get out of the container it is pretty easy. Just before reloading, walk forward few feet and Voila! You can recall your ship, empty your inventory and go back and do it over again till you are sick and tier of doing it.

Tell us better about the farming SDP, because since the beginning of the ED:OD beta I have not scored the required number (there are still 2 or 4 left), and about what Frontiers are cool developers with their ElitE where all the game mechanics focus on stupid grinding.

Hey Astro. Great tutorial vid as ever. But I kind of think that a game that requires you to log in and out multiple times in order to progress in any reasonable timeframe is fundamentally broken. It’s the same with collecting all materials. F Dev need to completely rethink the engineering materials game mechanic to not make it such a grind. I’ve said it before but if there was a way to develop your character as an engineer (eg a fleet carrier add on and based on the level of experience of engineering modules) such that you can earn the materials rather that have to grind for them. The grind is the big thing that makes me reluctant to progress further in the game.

Oddly enough I feel like CoD figured out fun and simple weapon upgrading 20 years ago and it basically amounts to XP. More XP, more unlockables. Pay for unlockables with money, swap them on and off at your leisure. Why on earth they thought that copying the engineering grind from ships to on foot but making it even more tedious when they knew it was broken and hated by the community is beyond me. Practically self sabotage at this point.

Kinda bummed that we're encouraging exploits on this channel.

Pro Tip: If you goof up and grab 15 schematics, leaving no room for the mission item, relog and run before the container loads in. I suggest side-stepping. You'll be outside the container, allowing for ship recall and unloading of inventory. :P

Hey you dont need DSS, just fly up to planet, before you get close enough to enter orbit, the POI's on the surface will reveal in nav panel and on surface.
Good idea staying in container, I will have to give it a try, as I usually cut into all 3 and e-breach yellow containers.
