What I would say to those tempted to start as a sole trader is this, hope for the best, but plan the shit out of expecting the worst. Few novices really appreciate, just how brutal business is, in fact, there are people out there, whose single purpose in life, is to earn a living, from suing inexperienced start-ups. As a sole trader, if you own anything, you might lose it, even if you’ve done literally nothing wrong. Legal Liability Insurance is vital, as is liability insurance as a Ltd, because you are an employee of your business, thus it is necessary.

I feel strongly that the government should have a 3 year grace period, where you don’t have to do anything complicated, just so you can focus on getting off the ground. The UK is THE most anti-start-up government anywhere in the world, they hate entrepreneurs.

any idea abt registering bank acct in bahamas & setting up UK Company but then you say legally you have brand over there as well so your cashflow gets diverted to that acct but since Bahamas is 0 taxes so you keep what you earn ?? pls do research and tell ??
