Ответитьmy favs are hexa stackers and block planter decor
ОтветитьLove your ideas.
ОтветитьI love the small wood lemon sign you made, Olivia! It would be perfect in our little kitchen, resting on a small countertop easel. That piece along with a lemon towel Hubby bought will bring in the sunshine, along with our sky light! Typically, summer flowers, a mix that always includes pinks and burgundies, lilac, white and green furnishes the living and dining areas of our home. Some lemon decor will be in the kitchen work area, then patriotic decor will take over for Memorial Day, Flag Day and Independence Day! Late summer will transition into sunflowers and finally Autumn decor. It is fun to change things as the year progresses.
I'm still laughing at Benji Bear snatching that toy before you could! He is such a hoot and oo darn cute!! Loved being with you🤗🤗🤗❤️
Absolutely loved the last planter. I will be making that one. The good thing is- I already have all the items needed for it. No need to even go to the DT.

ОтветитьHi Holly,
Before I forget, the last DYI you made with the mini pots on top of eachother gave me an idea to make something like that with china tea cups. I have Royal Dalton English cups but would not dare use those but maybe I could find at the thrift store and use the saucer as the base.
One of my addictions has always been flower pots. I use them for my paint brushes different seeing rulers, pencils and pens and plants. Mom could not believe how many doff pots I had years ago and she thought it was foolish spending but I love plants and one large one dates back to when I was a baby so it's 58 years old. I told my mom nicely, I buy only when on sale and I do not buy hair spray or lipstick, my van is a 2006, my flower pots bring me joy. If money is tight I do not buy them. A couple months ago an Instagram friend sent me a gift she made as a surprise. She sent it in one of those glossy floral mailers and my mom was still alive. My mom saw me checking out the bag after I displayed the lovely gift. My mom saw my wheels turning asking what I was going to do with the mailer. I told her after her nap she will not recognize it. Mom went to bed and I got out my fussy Cutter Bee scissors and I cut out all the roses on the glossy bag. I had a terra cotta pot that was plain but I bought it at Home Depot to plant some seeds. I painted mod podge on to some of the areas and with the glossy flowers mod podged them on and let it dry in the sun on the back porch. I saved the rest of the bag. I did not say a word to my mom I wanted to see if she would notice at dinner. It took awhile but with big eyes and a smile she said her mom would be si proud of me as I am like her, she never wasted she saved little things to recreate them.
All your pots are lovely and your mind is always going too. I always have those glue dots as I make my own note cards. Your pot reminds me of Hob Knob which is coming back now into decor. Years ago at a yard sale my mom bought me a flower pot lamp without a shade and white rocks were in the pot. The light never worked and now it is packed away but when I find it I had an idea thanks to you. I want to cover the pot with a pretty napkin and with my shade pattern book make a shade out of card stock or maybe our of wax paper and mod podge a matching napkin onto the shade. Where the bulb goes I can balance a battery operated flickering Dollar Tree tea light on it and I think that would look cool. I have 6 more boxes to unpack from my move. I am still feeling over whelmed as my place is so very tiny but I love it.
Tonight I had to take a break and not watch storage solutions videos. I saw your flower pot video and it made my night!
Great video as always,
Rebekah from VA
