This is wild. How does one even figure this stuff out lol. So crazy 😅
ОтветитьIt's interesting that there are categories for runs that allow full use of the Exploration Glitch. I mean, you can literally just walk to the transition of the door in Ganon's arena and get the Triforce cutscene within a couple of minutes, of starting so modes and runs that allow it just feel kind of strange.
ОтветитьYou know what, after i played this LTTP, it turns out that I know nothing. Mad respect to the runner
Ответитьsensitivity warning during the flashing lights. rip
ОтветитьThis was an incredible watch. I don't think I've ever seen a run that showcased the runner's knowledge of the game like this. Amazingly cool.
ОтветитьWait, so you go from the 4th dark dungeon, to the 2nd dark dungeon to the 3rd light dungeon?!?!? Crazy speedrun, good stuff to the runner
ОтветитьThey should have made this game for the NES. Would have looked better.
ОтветитьMy friend loves the hookshot so I had fun telling him about the new (at least to us) glitches. He apparently skipped this one because he's seen so many ALttP runs already. I almost skipped it too. Glad I checked it out.
ОтветитьReally cool to see the real time problem solving.
ОтветитьOn one hand, I feel bad seeing a runner making mistakes on stage. On the other hand, it really does it make it look so much more impressive when everything goes right.
ОтветитьLegendary
ОтветитьImagine being Ganon and just watching Link glitch his way across the world.... lol
ОтветитьGlan is such a pro! Great run - they made an insanely risky category look marathon safe.
ОтветитьReminds me of another run that I think Andy was involved in; "Can we get a donation since we've seen this part already?"
Kudos to Glan for understanding the game enough to adjust on the fly and do a whole bunch of extra glitches to get back on the rails
one thing i love about this is how DIFFERENT it is to Andy's swordless run a few years back
ОтветитьWell done, wild .
ОтветитьIs 'mind blown' where Link ends up in that trailer for the new Zelda game?
ОтветитьThe recovery is the most impressive part, honestly. These folks aren't just memorizing the right inputs, they have an understanding of this game's systems that is kind of unreal. It's always a pleasure to see people take a game I love and just completely demolish it, and this is one of the finest examples I've seen yet.
ОтветитьIs this even randomized?
Ответить...... That was hilarious. Epic Ganon fight!
ОтветитьThis is so crazy. Some link between worlds jammed in here lol
ОтветитьThe only game I can subconsciously 100%
ОтветитьPeople running Zelda swordless will be hyped to find out what the next Zelda game is all about :D
Ответитьgg
ОтветитьI remember doing the warp glitch with Link's Awakening back in the 90s and the game getting confused about tiles and collisions like that. But I had no idea LTTP was so breakable too and I certainly couldn't do the routing they do here. This is absolutely beautiful.
ОтветитьOk, I have never watched a speed run before. For some reason it has just never interested me. I keep hearing about this event on my favourite podcast (shout out new game plus podcast) and this is my all time favourite game, so I have bit the bullet. So glad I did, because this is absolutely fascinating to watch! And so calm doing it lol we’ll done!
ОтветитьMad props to the runner for flexing their game knowledge and pushing through every roadblock the category threw at them. Keeping cool and problem-solving on the fly is no easy feat.
I honestly enjoy the runs where things go wrong even more than ones that are all smooth sailing. It really highlights the runners knowledge and shows just how difficult these runs are to perform.
Let’s go Glan! GG, Hype!!
ОтветитьHonestly, some of the improv showed off great game knowledge we wouldn't have seen if everything had gone perfectly. Great run!
ОтветитьGreat commentary! Loved that run of alttp!
ОтветитьI understood everything that happened in this run……
ОтветитьFun run, y'all! But - I have to ask. In several GDQ runs so far this year there's been this constant clicking sound. What's the deal? Mic issue? Noisy controller?
ОтветитьWhat is making that sound throughout the run? Sounds like a click from a metronome
Ответить
