Bro this stupid 'SpEcTa' brand is just straight up copying DJI at this point, first the specta air (identical to the air 3) now the specta mini (identical to the mini 2) what is going on ? Even the motors sound the same

That’s incredibly crazy how good this clone is. It’s like an exact one to one replica. It’s like they have access to the factories parts. You should try swapping the controller to real one and if it connects then can confirm the real DJI parts in there. And also swap the batteries and see if they work.

Went with the Potensic Atom SE. It's astounding. Will be ordering the 3 axis model soon, which is a luxury, since the SE already does everything I need to do.
I do wish the crowd would get over the perceived status in paying too much for DJI, but that's their problem. I now know better.
If software add-ons for Potensic were available, I'd gladly support the cause.
The no-name knock offs don't interest me. I will be needing batteries and propellers, and want them to be available.
I love the Potensic controller. It really holds my phone and makes for a nice balance. No worries about the phone working loose, and a great compact form factor.

So.. Is Specta a sub division of DJI? It is a startup after all.?? Will the Mini 4k (aka Mini 2) work with the Specta App (and visa-versa)?? &... you don't even mention the Fimi X8 Mini V2(at $249 or less) or their new Mini 3.

Just bought a mini 2 se for my first drone 2 weeks ago. Iam absolutely loving and have flown everyday other then a few rain days. Ive sat in my backyard and have had it out over my downtown 2.5kms out at 500m many times before I start to loose signal with all the obstructions houses buildings trees. I could literally fly to my parents house which is about 3.5 kms and bring her down in there backyard. Especailly jere in Canada everyone is buying sub 250g since transport Canada has 0 regulations other then restricted notams and class F airspace. No height, VLOS, or flying over people or vehicle restrictions. Use common sense dont be dumb and use good judgement. Micro drone flyers paradise up here.

Um, not really a 'clone'. This IS a DJI. DJI licensed their tech and/or founded Specta in light of Congress proposing to ban DJI drones in the U.S. Not that hard to figure out. No real 'mystery' here! Just another example of government affecting commerce.
