Blackguard plays a part in the dung eater questline to get the seedbed curse secret ending. And just and fyi, the sword talisman you get from the cleanrot knight doesnt increase your damage indefinately the longer your combo is, it triggers a set dps increase at 6 for 3% , 8 for 5% and 12 hits for 10% as long as the hits are all within one second of each other, the buff degrades to the lower level for every 1.5 seconds a hit isnt landed till it dissapears.
The easy way to get onto the mausoleum is to stand on the 3rd gravestone down on the cliffs in front of it (near the site of grace where bok spawns) and shoot the skulls off, they take one hit each, then the mausoleum sits down permanently.

The red tear stone ring in dsr boosted attack power by 50% they then nerfed it to 30% or 20% like you said. Imagine having a 50% damage boost stackable with all other buffs in elden ring. I’d just max my vigor stat so you still have a good amount of health.

The crystalian is super weak to strike type damage

if ure an idiot like me who killed blackguard u can do immense dmg to them using his weapon

Use blunt strike weapon on crystallians.

To take out crystallines literally just jump attack if you are a dex build use the bloody slash attack

You have to use strike weapons like the hammer for the Crystalian. It is ez with that

For the Crystalian bosses, use a SHEILD. These things are quite slow and most of their moves are easy to read, so you can get easy parries with little practice to learn their timing. Although the spinning attack will all but kill you if you miss the parry window for that one. If you are a pure spellcaster, it is a rough fight unless you have the Judgement Gaval which does a ton of damage to them. If there are more of them, you should consider a summon helper to keep them from ganging up on you. The spell casting ones are harder to me since they have very effective ranged attacks that you can't block well but they are worse at Melee range, so charge attacks are your friend.

with the stillwater cave if going back to get things you missed their are a few things i think would make things somewhat easier even if your over leveled

the mushroom set/immunizing horn/mottled necklacked given helps reduce the effects of poison and the mushroom crown and kindred of rot's exaltation both provide attack buffs if near poison or are poisoned etc

It would take some investment but skeleton spear ashes and the impale blade spell (sorry don't remember the actual names) can actually put the crystalian into a stun lock. Just make sure you charge the spell.

Easiest Way to kill crystalians is with a STRIKING weapon

Hammers and fists works best on crystalian

This has probably been said already but don't kill the NPC at the prawn shack.

Should have gone with the Letting him Live option as he has 100 great things about him and is a summon for a boss fight against Magma Wyrm Makar

For the Crystalian, I brought with me Banished Knight Engvar and together we melted that boss
If you time your attacks correctly you and Engvar can stun lock the boss forever which makes the fight so much easier

There's a whole area/town called Jarburg that I found on the East side of the Upper Liurnia that's not mentioned; you have to make some brilliant jumps with Torrent down to get there but well worth to meet the Coz of Alexander!

I just killed the crystal boss easily using a spiked club

The crystal guy, I just used the carian great sword spell and it died in like 4 hits, they are the same as the little baddies in the caves

crystal and stone enemies are vulnarable to strike weapons like hammer and maces.

For the crystillians I would suggest the Bloodhounds Fang as it is very easy to get and does a massive amount of damage and it’s ash of war is very useful for these fights

the crystalian is easy when you use some impact intead slashes and perforates attacks, just use hammers or maces or the shield to do damage

It's much easier to fight crystalian if you use a mace or a hammer or any other kind of blunt weapon with strike type damage because it shatters the crystal so much quicker. I had no trouble with this boss whatsoever.

The crystalians are easily defeated with strike weapons as any stone enemies are (watchdog, etc.) The game follows logical weaknesses. Erdtree avatars are weak to axes and fire, because they are… trees. Sometimes what an enemy attacks you with is also their weakness. Tree sentinels with lightening are weak to lightening and land squirts will explode instantly if you hit them with a poison pot. This game is not a one weapon for everyone type of game. If their bar isn’t going down fast for you, try another weapons. Good luck.

And why would you kill blackguard and put out misinformation to kill him immediately n make ppl miss out on another quest and missable items?
