Newfy dogs are one of the most gentlest big dogs out there. I am not surprised to see one getting along with duck or any animal for that matter, they are laid back gentle giants.

Our duck waits outside for our dog. Then charges him, head-down like an angry goose, and does his tiny-duck-best to shred the dog into small pieces. There is so much rage in that little feathered body.

I think ducks have a slightly shorter life span than dogs so hopefully the duck is only a bit younger because it seems like it would struggle to adjust if the dog died first…. But they both look pretty spritely so I’m guessing they have many good years left together.

Very cool. We had a Germans Shepherd and a POA which were all ways playing together and taking turns chasing eached other and rolling in the sand and taking dust baths together and the pony would grab our dog’s toys and rund withed them as did our dog chased him and then would the dog grab it and rund fromed the pony. Then on hot of days they bothed would go unders the water sprayer which could the pony turned on withed his nose and they would bothed roll ined the waters pool it made .
Neighbors would come out withed lawn chairs for watching them playing for hours.
