Hi this is urgent. I have an H1B with I 140 approved. Recently I got laid off 3 months back. So after 2 months grace period I transferred my legal status to B2 visa. Now I got a contract job. Through them I got back my H1B visa status back. After 15 days , I got better and another offer from company B. As it is a full time job with better pay range I would love to join to company B. Should I tell company B about my company A’s H1B status? I don’t have any paycheck from company A as joining date is after one week. Any suggestions or guidance would greatly appreciated .

I'm so grateful I came across this video when I was looking for options during my 60 days grace period. I, right away within the first week, applied for change of status to B2 visa using form I-539. It was a very stressful time not knowing if this is the right move of converting H1B to B2 and then back. Luckily I got the job in the third month, soon after my B2 got approved and within 15 days of premium processing I got the H1B.

Should we go for stamping if changing status from B2 to H1B again?
