Hey quill please can you show how do deal with the ancient dangers before you end the series?

I kickstarted Rim World, and I've been playing it once or twice every year since it's first release.

I'm probably pushing 2,000 hours of game time at this point, yet this let's play has taught me several new things about the game.

Seeing the game played unmodded is a neat novelty, one I will never attempt myself, but I have a few console only friends who I might try to convince playing the console version.
Now I'll actually know what I'm recommending them.

My 263 currently installed mods (not counting my own homebrews) changes so much, that I have no idea where RimWorld ends and the mods begin anymore. Until now of course! Thanks, Quill!

Is the old mortar rule not under the extended storyteller rules ?
I also think that you still keep making simple helmets and then sell them.

A 'trick' for doors in an outer wall is to have an outer wooden door and an inner stone one. The stone door is held open until there is a threat to keep out.

The stone door is on the inside because that allows a pawn to close it from the inside without opening the wooden door.

Mortars now /do/ use shooting skill (in vanilla no-DLC RW) since v1.3 at least

Autodoors open quicker than the standard ones, BUT all doors (of the same material) close at the same speed.. which is why you need to have a >2 tile gap between them if using them for a freezer airlock

One day Q will double up on tool cabinets for max work efficiency, but today is sadly not the day :(

Loving the Vanilla run! So damn good - looking forward to exploring some good mods after watching this and finishing a vanilla run myself :)

i bought Rimworld after seeing this series, what a great game and this series is teaching me a lot. Is there a purpose for animal bones? Im trying to figure out why Quill has so many kept. Ive been keeping mine too since I am unsure lol
