Hello there, I'm an admin on Google Workspace, and we have Business Standard, but I don't see that option. When I log in to Google Drive, it only shows "My Drive" for personal use. How can I log in as Business and access Google Shared Drives?

ОтветитьHi, I had a shared drive (I don't own it) and was the manager. Only I was the only person that managed it.
Now, it was gone. All my personal files were there. What do you think are the possible reasons? Did the organization/higher permissioned people deleted the drive? Or is possible that they replaced the manager. They told me I was the only one who can access my drive. But now it's gone. : (

ОтветитьSuppose I am added to a shared drive and I am the manager there. Apart from that, there are no other members added; it's only me in there. Now, if I upload any files there, will anyone else have access to those files like being able to see them?
Like the organization or someone above me? Note that there are no other members than me in that shared drive.

ОтветитьI’ve always struggled with how to justify a shared drive rather than create a folder and share it with groups (teams) of staff. I end up treating it much like a shared drive. I do this as an Admin, and I can restrict or expand various settings. I would appreciate if someone would show a comparison of creating a folder in Workspace that will be treated like a shared drive, and then show why that is limited and what you can do better on a shared drive to make it worth my staff learning how and to start using them.
