My tactic as a veteran for beginners are using golems. Getting the golems is a faster way and lazier way but more efficient. Getting 3 of the witches and golems is not a bad start. In my time of playing well i was fighting the dragons but was unsuccessful from the last 4.

I love this game i play this game few years ago and im so powerful inthis game

I used all the sumon units and treasure and it is very crazy

The one that one of the best for me was the orc

The Golem master and druid are really good

Personally, the most fun lineup for me is the summoner one

With of course the bar building(doubles human summons).

And Edward leader, and any other hero if you have the 2nd slot, I use the skeleton king as 2nd.

And for the bag, 2 gems(gem golems), skull ring, and black pearl.

For skill tree, it will give you an extra golem, imperfect gems to activate one extra gem(2 extra gem and 2 activated, so all 4) and allows summoned units to have HP instead of lifespan, and also respawn when they die within 5 seconds.

At early levels you just aim for as much lifespan as you can, but with the skill tree, which comes much later on, you can get an upgrade which allows your summoned units to have HP instead of lifespan, so you must switch your lifespan promoted heroes to whatever you like like damage, like giant from stone giant which is extra lifespan before you can switch to mad giant which deals extra damage.
So in total with skill tree you have on the field

Which totals to 86 units on the battlefield

Not taken to account the castle archers and the slinger hero able to shoot, the castle towers, and the buffs, the altar, extra abilities,

and most importantly the extra summons you can get from items on the dragon fights.

You can also remove the succubus and flying orc which on total removes 12 units, to replace with the useful smith or such.

Grow Castle is obviously a tower defense and strategy game where you defend from enemies. You asked us what good heroes are, which I have 3: Bazooka Man, Golem Master, and Druid. Golem Master summons a Golem to slowly but surely travel and destroy the enemies. Bazooka Man controls a bazooka which launches his ammo, and explodes after hurling after the enemy. There is also an important benefit to making heroes and other things stronger called promoting. Promoting heroes makes them even stronger, or better in combat. For example, when we upgrade Golem Master to MAX lvl, you can either make him stronger, get a new passive skill, or do more damage for all Golems. The map provides special things. You can upgrade towns and get more money, or go to different places and get more troops of resources. If you earn a resource (Ex: Ruby, which summons a fire golem), then click on a chest button and look for the ruby and equip it. Also, in the town, you can eventually get things like a market, a lab, etc. Last thing I'll say, you might want Stone for your journey. Stone at MAX lvl can add 2 extra tower slots (a tower example is like a worm or the cannon), so it's easier to kill enemies. If you read this, then thank you! Have a good day!

Baron you would have to probably spend millions of dollars to beat the bone dragon I played grow castle for well over a year and it still one shots me and I can kill the red dragon but sin not so much
