She's pregnant - that there's an empire waist, with inverted pleats in the front... you'll notice, later on the episode, she wearing a full coat - A- LINE... and they keep focusing on the waist up - they used to make sure they had shots of all the women in their dresses - the neighbor, the visitor's wife, whether they were going to sit on the couch or answer the door...

What was the big deal about that dress?

I watched this growing up and loved it then...still love it😊

There was never an actress that could do more with just facial expressions than Liz, just amazing..............But she wasn't our sweet Samantha in real life, she could be cold and had many affairs. It's sad that most Hollywood people back then were nothing like we thought.

I loved Samantha she was so beautiful, her & Jeanie were my favourite women on t.v back then! I still watch Jeanie when they put her on Foxtel all those 70 s shows were so good. Kids these days would be better off watching all those terrific shows.

I loved the show .. but the daily drinking that was depicted was excessive .. almost every show they were drinking .. Sam - Larry - Darin - Larry's Wife or any new account Darin or Larry was trying to land .. had drinks in there hands at Noon Time .. Dinner etc ..
