Hey John! Really cool to see your face and a very cool tour of PRS! Great work! Who knows?… maybe run into you back in Billings sometime kinda like I ran into this video! Peace!
Chris Fahnlander
Very very interesting, I have a SE Santana guitar with bird inlays, Awesome guitar for the price very well made and for the price good value for the money
ОтветитьA happy owner of 5 PRS guitars here ....since 30 years now....that's great stuff indeed guys 🙂
ОтветитьIt's a pity the stock pickups sound s*** especially in my se custom 24.. and why don't they put locking tuners on the se series
ОтветитьBohlinger is fantastic.
ОтветитьI’ve had an SE single cut for over 20 years now. Still an absolutely amazing guitar platform. Other than normal guitar maintenance that 2 decades of use will require, the guitar has not undergone any additional or extensive set up work. I still use it for sessions regularly, and would never wish to retire it to a wall hanger, or just keep it for nostalgia’s sake. One day I’d really like to have a genuine single cut. Thanks for the tour footage! I do love me a PRS
ОтветитьCan I get a silver sky se with a humbucker?
ОтветитьNa, my initial reaction was to the pickups and that you couldn’t buy them without the guitar.
ОтветитьI watched Joe Walsh playing a PRS SE on stage with the Eagles. The SE line is outstanding. I have an SE 245, and I couldn't believe how good it was, and it only cost me $650. That's half the price of another brand similar guitar, and it's just as good or better. Well done PRS.
ОтветитьNo company works the CE line like PRS 💫
ОтветитьI’d like to own one BUT THEY ARE DAMN EXPENSIVE
ОтветитьThere's no one like Paul Reed Smith in my opinion. He really is an interesting guy regardless of the size PRS has grown too he's never lost the obsession to tinker. The man is involved in everything he even hand signs the high end guitars. Most companies PRS's size are 100% using employees and teams with a final sign off from a guy Paul's level. Paul's right there with the teams.
ОтветитьDon't make a drinking game out of this video, I lost friends by doing a shot every time they say "operation" 😅
ОтветитьInteresting dude. I knew he would be. Sexy guitars…..
ОтветитьPaul is such a great guy and respects his people. His personality is honest and to the point and I love that. I've always been a fan of PRS since I was a kid and Temonti got his signature model. John is always a gracious host, well done Premier Guitar 💯👍🏼
Ответитьyou can tell the difference between the better expensive prs guitars vs the cheap ones made in Indonesia, the giveaway is the routed out tone and volume knob areas where the wood is cut out around the knobs.
ОтветитьI’m looking forward to loving my brand new PRS guitar SE. But it’s got high frets, frets sticking off the side of the fretboard, and when I bend notes, they go dead. So I purchased a couple hundred dollars of front leveling tools and look forward to falling in love with my guitar when I can play it.
ОтветитьI don't think (after all the time spent on the neck and fretting it and placing the nut) then mating it to an unfinished body. Then for the neck to have to be covered all up and protected, while the body is finished and stained and painted. Is a good idea. In comparison to the "lesser" quality SE PRS's made in Asia, completing the fingerboard fretting and nut placement after being mated into a body, after the body has been somewhat finished.
ОтветитьThe Maryland accent 😊
ОтветитьI’m blown away with how much hand work is done at virtually every stage of production.
ОтветитьHaha Me just sitting all day in play room trying to smash some Slash riffs 😅
ОтветитьI just ordered the PRS core modern eagle v 2023 model. Now I’m here to watch how my guitar is being made. This is cool
ОтветитьIt's amazing how different the points of emphasis are at the PRS tour compared to videos of the Gibson tour.
ОтветитьThis is so fitting as I just received my first PRS today!! It got delivered this morning and I am still at work😔 I’m so ready to get out of here and go home!!!
ОтветитьPicked up a PRS McCarty the other day. I’m convinced they’re the greatest guitar ever built. I’m talking over custom shop fenders/gibsons, Gretch etc. PRS truly is king of guitars. I wanna know where he came up w the bird inlays. Absolute genius guitar craftsmanship.
ОтветитьAwesome vid, gotta drive down & check this place out, have many Prs,Gibsons,Fenders..the "P" in Prs stands for "PERFECT" guitars
ОтветитьPlayed a Mexican Strat for a few years, picked up a PRS SE and I may not look back
ОтветитьPaul is true to who he is, he is authentic! PRS Makes the best mass produced guitars!
ОтветитьI'm looking for a Stratocaster
Black body white pickguard,six string.
Well that was a very enjoyable and informative hour… thank you!
ОтветитьThanks for the tour.
ОтветитьI always enjoy seeing these videos with John. He’s like a kid in a candy store. His excitement in everything he does is infectious.
ОтветитьPRS guitars have no life I am staying with Fender and Gibson
ОтветитьLOVE!
Ответитьbest and most beautiful guitars ever made. period
Ответитьis this the guy who played the dude getting married at a destination wedding in mexico on curb your enthusiasm?
Ответить"Our little factory...." yeah, that changed the world of guitars.
ОтветитьPRS#1
ОтветитьHoly shit, the worker in the wood room is a chore to listen to.
ОтветитьI use 2 work 4 paul back n the 80's. He was great 2 work 4. Then he was located n the city of Annapolis MD. Unfortunately I had 2 move back 2 va. A 4-5 hr drive 1 way. Plus paul moved the factory across the old Bay Bridge which made the trip longer. I miss the guys & wonder what happened 2 Cindy & Joe N. Miss u paul & all the others that worked 4 u @ that time. A beautiful time n my life. Karen Hommel 😊
ОтветитьI remember the first time I saw a Bohlinger PG episode, I didn't like him because I thought he just had that fake new guy enthusiasm, but now its however many years later and I always look for the videos that feature him as the interviewer. the guy is great, and a phenomenal player in his own right.
ОтветитьThis is also a great example of how the newer PRSs are better made than the older ones. There's this belief that they don't make them like they used to that is extremely flawed.
ОтветитьThe tour guide has zero conversation skills but my god, does he know his business! Information library!
ОтветитьMy favorite part of this video is how excited you are taking the tour. I'd be bouncing off the walls too dude 🤘🤘
ОтветитьI e always been a fan of prs, and they have achieved something only ever achieved by fender and gibson before. But! The price gap between the se and the core guitars, is no way justifiable anymore. If the se is that good, it should either be more expensive (and the price is rising all the time) but thousands of pounds for a core guitar, and being more expensive than gibsons, nope, consistent as they are and as much of a fan as I am. I’ll never buy a core guitar, I’d spend my money on a Gibson.
ОтветитьCan't believe how thick the tops are ., great presentation
ОтветитьMe too.
My first album I listen to was Jimi Hendrix , Are You Experienced. Blew me away.
