First of all you need to disregard the netflix "witcher like production" because the netflix series is DOGSHIT! Also the netflix writers DIDN'T READ THE BOOKS!!! They admitted they didnt! They in fact hate it and were often mentioned to have ridiculed them!

Watching this is quite weird... I know more about The Witcher lore more than you and seeing that you are taking in consideration that the netflix adaptation belongs here is very upsetting... For example, Ciri came to Kaer Morhen to train when she was 8 years old, in the netflix adaptation she was like 20... in the real lore when she was this age, she was already slashing everyone with her teleportation trough dimensions and leaving them all in pieces behind... If you want to do an Iceberg, atleast make sure that you are an actual fan that knows stuff cuz this is just sad... Also your pronounciation of "Potka" is upsetting aswell... This reminds me of all them people watching Anime in eng dub... The Witcher is supposed to be played with Polish dubbing and no, I dont care if you dont understand the language... I dont understand many languages fluently (Polish and Japanese are included there) yet I play games with their proper dubbing for better immersion... So if you ever played the game in polish, you would know the proper pronounciation of Geralt and Potka and other characters... As of now, when you mention some characters I dont even know whom are you talking about cuz I know the original name... So IDK who the hell is danylien...

I never though about the translation of Roach, in Spanish is "Sardinilla" the name they gave to Roach, and it's that, a sardine, absolutely perfect.

''Cat are monsters'' , what imbecile though of that?

All throughout history and folklore it is ''known'' that cats keen senses allow them to sometimes see contents of the spirit realm.
Hence why cats sometimes stare into the coroner of a room or look like they are seeing something when we can't see anything.
This is why black cats are superstitiously seen as evil and always depicted as aiding witches.

Do these imbeciles not read ?

The cats react to Gerald because they can sense that he is not a normal human and that he has numerous connections with evil spirits and curses.

‘’Dark age.’’

The first universities were founded during the Dark Ages and the great Gothic Cathedrals, chiseled by hand without power tools, were built during it

In many ways it really was forward thinking instead of backward.
''Dark age'' Europe does not mean ''Lack of technology / sophistication/ poor living conditions'' , the term ''Dark age'' refers to ''Lack of information/knowledge/written record compared to Rome's written record'' of that time period in Europe.
Philosophers in the Renaissance and (especially) Enlightenment had a nasty habit of saying the several centuries before them sucked, largely because of their own prejudices. Lots of falsehoods are still widely taught as historical fact because of their chronological snobbery.

''Dark age'' does not mean ''stagnation/lack of innovation''. ''Dark Age'' refers to ''Lack of information about that time period. During the Mesopotamian ''Dark age'' after the fall of the first Babylonian Dynasty, the regions still flourished under the Kassites in terms of civilisation, cities, innovation, infrastructure technologies ,sciences and Empire.
The exact same applies to the Medieval ''Dark Age''.

Tolkien and by extension Peter Jackson had such vast imagination and vision when it came to differing races/species and cultures in a fantasy world. The Elves are elevated, regal and clearly depicted as ancient beings that has transcended the trifling squabbles of lesser beings. Moving and conducting themselves with such grace and elegance , you can clearly see they are of a superior civilisation. It gives the elves (Every faction) a unique feel and atmosphere to them.

The same unique/different feel is also captured within the Witcher games, the elves feel like a race elevated to that of the humans / dwarves and so on.

In contrast, Netflixs creations are all so generic, bland and decrepit , with absolutely no difference between humans, elves or dwarves. Netflix propaganda writers just want to create a world they want to see, a decrepit , homogenous pit of gray excrement , every fantasy species/race/faction consist of every earthly race, white, asian, black, indian , there is absolutely zero distinction to any faction or people group. It is just a cauldron of mediocre ,braindead cussing people with malformed ears. The world the woke cult wants to see.

Regardless of Henry Cavill’s perfect casting and his enthusiasm and love for the games and books, from the get go I knew ‘’Not the Witcher’’ on Netflix would be dead on arrival.
It was like giving a piece of priceless art to a shit fisted chimpanzee , only there to smear its feces all over the existing canvas.
I was excited for season 1 only because of Cavill ..but as always in today's age of the Woke feminazi cult, I immediately saw them relegate Geralt … the namesake of the franchise to the background to promote the diverse females in their propaganda piece.

Thus I have refused to even continue entertaining the very notion of Netflix’s NOT the Witcher.

I really don't mind companies wanting to make money. What I do mind, and despise is when talentless , visionless dim-witted cretins, don't have the brains to create anything new in their image, so instead they take well loved, richly culturally based (European culture) stories ,created by vastly superior minds and corrupt them, defile them and distort them with only one aim, promoting the propaganda of their fascist ,feminist woke cult. That I will not abide by.

‘’The Shadow that bred them can only mock,it cannot make: not real things of its own. I don’t think it gave life to Orcs, it only ruined them and twisted them…’’ - Frodo, The Return of the King.

Evil Is Sterile. It cannot create, cannot imagine or have new ideas, certainly cannot produce new forms of life, It may be able to propagate, but only in the manner of The Virus or The Corruption, by turning everything into more of itself.

Beings who have fallen under evil control, whether they are Reforged into a Minion or taken over by their Superpowered Evil Side, become cruder and twisted versions of themselves. They may gain power, but they lose crucial aspects that once made them special, and will probably not behave very intelligently.

Ultimately, the hope of this kind of evil is to, at best, corrupt the whole world into being just like itself, and at worst, destroy everything. The possibility of making something new and different is anathema to it.

1 Corinthians 15:33 - Don’t be deceived, bad company corrupts good character.

Isaiah 5:20 - 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Each year Hollywood/Netflix/Amazon/Disney/Modern ‘’Entertainment’’ CNN/BBC/Fox, evolves further and further into the Reich Ministry of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.
It doesn't aim to entertain/provide factual news, it’s only aim is to emulate Joseph Goebbels , mastering the art of spreading the Propaganda of their Woke feminazi cult.

In my opinion the views of the dopplers in the American vs polish imaginings boils down to what we as people would do with such a power; us Americans would use it as subterfuge to increase personal gains such as a crude collection. Meanwhile my head canon is that the poles understand how fucked up it would be to become someone else and have their memories they empathize with their targets since they gain deep understanding this their different outlook of being much more gentle outwardly.

Feels weird that "Witchers are monsters" is a theory at all even more so being at the bottom, even if the theory was that Witchers are Monsters rather than Creatures, assuming you didn't just lump the two together. Witchers aren't monsters as one of the things that define a monster is a lower level of perceived sentience, but they're also not really human anymore. I say they're Creatures

In the second season of the netflix series, someone complains that one of dandelions songs "was too complicated" and "took him until the fourth verse to figure out there were multiple timelines". This was a joke about the first season, and how it confusingly had multiple timelines. This could mean that the story being told is through Jaskier's perspective, and that is part of the shows explanation for how he barely ages.

On the subject of Roach. My mother-in-law names all her dogs some slight variation on the same name she only has one dog at a time. It is clear it's because she wants to always honor and remember the pup before and before and before. It's chain of love extending all the way back to her first pup. So when I first played Witcher and found out about Roach I instantly assumed that was why he always had a Roach.

One aspect that wasn't mentioned by you in regards to the verge of scentific breakthrough is that it is actually a theme in Witcher 3. It may therefore not be canon but at the end of the druid questline there is a brief moment where geralt discusses the fact that monsters seem to leave this world and making witchers irrelevant. But is not only referred to the harmful monsters and spirits but to all magical elements being pushed out of the world in favor of scientific progess. The people are stopping the believing in their old traditional ways which weakens the monsters and spirits.

what if cats are afraid of geralt because he's a witcher? they just see something inhumane and unnatural in him, not likewise to other humans. We don't ever see cats WITh monsters in-game. we don't know how they react to them. think about it.

The Maiden, Mother and Crone mentioned by npcs is an obvious reference to the tripple goddess, present consistently in the lore. The crones of Velen are inevitably influenced by the theme but there are far from being the core of the theme. Gotta love fan theories based in ignorance. :C
