This song helped me to finally come to terms with the fact that my dad may have loved me, but he hardly ever showed it. For every kind word he had for me there were a thousand critical statements and comments like " that boy gets dumber every day". I realized that the opposite of love is not hate, but just "not caring anymore". If you hate someone, you still care what they think about you and you let them rent space in your head and your heart. I retired and left the state and never looked back. No goodbyes needed, just glad to be gone and at peace. Parents remember this: words have power! speak blessings over your children!

Absolutely magnificent. Like he was talking right to her. You could almost see the rage and anger in his face and his movements. The strength of his conviction that he didn’t care anymore was overwhelming. And the band worked right along with him. He was unable to control his movements. That was a man and his feelings becoming one. I’m 83, seen many a performance but this beats them all. Absolutely heartwarming and heartbreaking in one. Congratulations to him and his band. Be safe.
