I really hope that we can end the story with a more positive relationship with Kris. Allowing Kris to take over and make their own decisions at certain points of the story would be really interesting, especially because the Soul never chose to be put into Kris.

god the world revolving part is one of my segments in any song ever, not just fanmade, not even just deltarune and undertale

Idk why but this doesn't feel like kris's theme even though they are the "enemy", it feels like YOUR theme

I honestly accept we'll probably be able to play with the "Shell" that we made at the start of deltarune, and we'll have to fight against Kris or something similar to that.

I say structure-wise, this song predicted the final boss theme of Pokemon Scarlet / Violet: a cheerful leitmotif used in a fast, intense theme.

You listen to a passing tune heard from the echo within the darkness... But within it, you can hear a vague conversation, one that sounds as if it's from another place and time altogether... as if it's from another universe entirely... You hear the sound of footsteps from within the static, and listen in to this mysterious conversation from across space and time... A conversation from the distant past of another universe... 2 voices could be heard from the tune, somehow, you hear the conversation, and as the world begins to reach the climax, the calm before the storm at the end of it all, you stabilise your thoughts, and listen in to the mysterious conversation...

this song feels more like an end-game thing imo, not against kris oddly enough, but more like a "bad guy knight cuts the soul, saves and reloads away from us and kris before downing both susie and ralsei and leaving kris heavily damaged" and this is the soul, now released, fighting solo against an incredibly powerful foe, but with determination and a will to protect everyone, possibly gaining access to the goner vessel we created for the duration, but severely weakened

this is how i view this song, fighting tooth and nail for whats right rather than what we want for once, having been separated from kris requiring precision to bring back kris into the fight in order to continue, as he'll die without us and vice versa, max health dropping each turn, but determination pulling us back into the fight just barely each time

i believe kris is a good person and neither the player nor kris are bad(excluding the snowgrave) as kris may believe opening the dark fountain is a way to let more people know about them, like undyne who was called, and toriel who is in the home, as well as him believing he can close it quickly and easily if he needs to, by talking like with queen now that susie and the player knows that some don't want to destroy the world

kris fighting the player seems like it could lead to more problems and would have to result in a truce, either to avoid losing everyone, themselves or each other

Chapter 7 was fucking crazy man, there were clouds, a turtle IN a cloud and even clouds MAKING MORE clouds, and ended with a fight against a magical blue-haired dude

itd be cool if kris and the player had a symbiotic relationship with each other and learned to deal with one another as the story continues and even become allies

I feel like if deltarune has a happy ending, its gonna be the player getting the vessel and kris being free, and kris and the player finnally get along

I honestly have a pretty crazy theory, but it'll require explanation to back it up.
We have no evidence about which fountains were created by whom, except that the Card Kingdom & Cyber World Dark Worlds were presumably created by the same individual, the Roaring Knight. But that begs the question, who made Ralsei's Dark World, when was it made, and why? It seems illogical that the Roaring Knight would create a Dark World with one inhabitant, and a world where said inhabitant is given knowledge of the Roaring & a desire to stop it. It'd make no sense. Then count Kris into the mix, and we can presume that there are possibly 3 Fountain makers as of the current time.
Now, for my theory:
What if the Soul controlling Kris isn't the only "Player Force" in Deltarune?
What if there's a "Player 2" who's playing to cause the Roaring? (Leaning into the Chess theory a smidge)
And rather than being like Player 1, who is tied to Kris's Soul, what if "Player 2" can choose who they control each day?
It'd be the perfect alibi for hiding from the actual player; "Player 1."
And what if Chapter 7 comes down to Kris, Susie, & Ralsei figuring it out, cornering "Player 2," and fighting them in the Vessel you created?

I like the idea that the person blocking you is the character that you create at the beginning of deltarune
