Tutorial dedicated to everyone who is new in GTA V modding scene.
This tutorial explains how to install any script mod that has any of the following extensions: .asi, .lua, .dll, .cs, .vb.
Remember to remove the examples from lua scripthook: exampleGUI.lua.
Warning: the newest .NET scripthook doesn't include scripts folder (no problem with that). Just copy the 4 files provided into GTAV main directory (not scripts).
All ScriptHooks installation: 0:00 to 1:00
ASI mod installation (.asi): 1:00 to 1:20
LUA mod installation (.lua): 1:24 to 1:44
NET mod installation (.dll, .cs, .vb): 1:46 to end
After you followed this tutorial you can:
- install any asi mod: copy the asi file in GTA V folder
- install any lua mod: copy the lua file into GTA V/scripts/addins
- install any dll, cs, vb mod: copy the file into GTA V/scripts

Made anything as shown on the video. .asi mods are working fine but .lua and.dll don't. Running GTA V as admin did not help.

I'm doing a fresh install of GTAV at the moment Going to be redownloading all the mods I want to run. I will come back and tell you if this worked.

My .dll mods don't work at all. I've tried everything, reinstalled the game, reinstalled .net, reinstalled the scripthooks and scripthooks .net. but it still doesnt work

I can never find the Scripts folder unless it's one you have to make yourself.

Thanks sauce boss! (btw if you're having issues with only asi mods working, try installing rage plugin hook for GTA V) With the Rage Plugin copy everything in it's folder into your GTA V folder then there should be a Ragepluginhook.exe run that then install everything that you don't have.

I tried installing the GangMod for GTA V and it doesn't work. It seems like the "scripts" folder doesn't really have a function, because the Native Trainer works fine, but the GangMod itself doesn't :(
