That would not be a good situation for me with as much glass as I'm surrounded with
ОтветитьOld Federal.
ОтветитьThat was wrong> What you need is another tow truck on the other side with a strap and cable attached over the top and down the up side of the trailer to the axle, working together ease it down level, this just probably did a ton of damage,
ОтветитьThat is scary!!! I often wondered about that happening in high winds. Hope they are all okay.
ОтветитьThe wind did this? Holy cow!!
ОтветитьMoral of the story, make sure your RV is not top heavy. (This one isn't even tall -
ОтветитьI think that's the dumbest way they could have pulled it over without having some type of other lines holding the other side so that the camper wouldn't slam down the way it did... With it slamming down that probably did more damage to the camper and tweaked things out of place like the frame, electrical, slide, plumbing, wood framing, etc...dumb, very dumb!
ОтветитьIt say a lot about the construction of the traiiler all the windows all in one peice and great work by the tow truck there great guys so skilled they pulled my semi 🚛 out a cuple of times glad everyone was ok have a great day andy❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis is why I sleep in my detached truck and not my camper.
ОтветитьYou better check the front of the frame (both sides) and see if that fall didn't bend it as that part of these pull trailers frames bend A LOT just using the trailer, (weak spot). I would be very concerned if I were you now...however nice recovery driver
ОтветитьBiff all the poops in our bed😝
ОтветитьBetter to Avoid 🫢🫣😮
ОтветитьWhen I was 16, I moved into my own caravan right on the beach, first thing my neighbours did was help me hammer it down with star pickets and heavey duty chains so it didnt blow away. I loved that place! Thank you neighbours👍🇦🇺
ОтветитьThe way it landed is why you have a opposing line on the opposite side to catch the impact so it doesn't slam on the ground. Also, hopefully the slide out was in when it blew over because if it was left out in severe winds might have contributed to the weight imbalance. In high winds from the opposite side of the slide out, closing it does wonders on tipping point. From someone who's experienced nearly everything bad that could happen to a RV.
ОтветитьWhy didn't they have Jack's to support the bottom as it came over so they could lower it gradually.
The damage to the axle and suspension won't be known till its used.
Anyone can just connect a with and pull.
He wouldn't have been doing it to My Unit 😢
I think if the trailer was attached to truck hitch ball it might not have flipped. Id say that their trailer damage will be about 5 to 10 grand minimum.
ОтветитьWhy the tow truck doesn't use a large airbag to cushion the descent of the caravan
ОтветитьCareful hillbillies your stupid is showing 😅😂😅
ОтветитьCouple of Airbags underneath. Then deflate... and remove..
ОтветитьThat camper is a total loss. Hope they had insurance.
ОтветитьThat's so bad for that family and others to experience this. Good thing that trailer didn't continue to roll on that tow company.
ОтветитьShould have anchored it to the dirt with 2 foot spikes and weights.
ОтветитьYou're in good hands with all snake 🐍
ОтветитьThey should put hooks on the floor so they can strap the RV down to the concrete that will be great
ОтветитьSo RV was totaled?
ОтветитьBest thing that could have happened for the owner.
Take the check, and don't buy another grand design!
It's too light
ОтветитьAnyone can yank an rv back on it's wheels like that. The company I worked would never do that. We would. We'd have a line on the other side and land it like it was a baby.
ОтветитьHope no one got hurt. That camper is probably toast.
ОтветитьHappy everyone is ok. God bless
ОтветитьOh wow! So sad asthose bigger RVs are expensive.
ОтветитьI was there for the storm and endured it in my Class A in site 35. A tree fell just to the west of us about 50 ft from my RV. Hope to never experience that again in my life. Winds were 60-70 MPH. This RV was in view of my spot and saw it after the storm cleared. Lots of trees down including one across the back of a pickup. No one was injured in any of the other 4 turnovers thankfully. Unfortunately part of the park is still shutdown as of last week when we were out there.
ОтветитьDid it wrong came down too hard
ОтветитьAre you kidding, that trailer is toast........
Ответитьimagine all the black water... how has no one mentioned this?!?? off to the junkyard at that point!!!
Ответитьi cant stop looking at that large lady in the fold up chair? how the hell is that thing holding her up??
ОтветитьNone of the Airstream trailers flipped over. That trailer is totaled
ОтветитьA diferença de uma boa construção o trailer viveu e não teve quase esta empresa está de parabéns
ОтветитьThat thing is junk. Shouldve just had a flatbed in there, loaded it and to junk yard. If anyone knows how these are put together, you wouldnt even bother with trying to save it. Axles are garbage now, guaranteed floor and walls are loose from mounting points. And that slide out has screwed the frame under side. Good thing no one was in it.
Ответитьouch i'm glad you are ok
ОтветитьHow strong were the winds? did any other trailers blow over too?
ОтветитьIt seems like a very nice campground
ОтветитьI'm glad I'm not the only one who saw better ways to do that. I suppose it's a total loss, so what's the point of doing it differently.
ОтветитьAxle is going to be so bad.
ОтветитьIMAGINE …. how strong the windblows!!!
ОтветитьDoes anyone know what the windspeeds were at that park when it flipped?
ОтветитьYeah, they could've done that better, no need to drop it like that.
ОтветитьThe sliding part altered the center of gravity when extended.
ОтветитьIn high winds like that you could connect to the tow vehicle to help keep it grounded.
ОтветитьJust curious. Didn't they cause as much damage as the tip-over caused when they let the rig slam back down on it's wheels like they did. Why would you not use 2 wreckers to control the motion?
Ответить
