Controller users are cheating as well. Online competitive games are dead outside on controlled lan events. The cheats come in all forms and sizes now. From software to hardware. Make people play on sand boxed pcs and gear. Watch them like a hawk the entire time.

What I don't understand is how controller players feel superior knowing thier peripheral isn't superior at all.
So the R6 competitive scene is split in two? Console tourneys and PC tourneys?
How can the champions of a console Turney say they are Champs when the pc players are leagues ahead of them?
It's like winning first place but it's really second because they aren't beating the pc players.

not a single person playing on pc is "happy" about the amount of aim assist in cross play games. The idea was okay, but let me disable that shit if I want to. I never cheated but if anyone played on pc and rage hacked all those shit console kids out of the game i wouldnt be mad

I own a Cronus (similar to the xim) solely for co op games and offline games (nothing that'd give me the competitive edge and/or that would be unfair to another player) and tbh even if it was to im dog ass on MnK in comparison to controller but even still my not so adeptness on MnK vs my 15+ years on controller, I'd probably still out aim myself with the mouse.

Don't really understand why people consider it cheating its cheap and requires skill lmfao it's the same as using a specialized tool just switch to using xim just like how apex players will prefer using controller for better movement if you're playing at the highest level use the highest level tools for your goal

I've been Plat 1 plenty of times with controller, Plat 1 with a xim. Originally used xim because I wanted to test out mnk prior to getting a PC. Used Xim for one season, and then mousetrap came. Went back to playing siege with a controller. I'm now playing the finals with a controller, so there's not much siege.

But why are we holding on to controllers? Why?? It's 2024! Consoles can use mnk now. Instead of mousetrap, just put people into different lobbies. Anything besides a controller, ship them to the xim lobbies. Mnk should be native at this point. And I play console mainly because my friends are still on console. At some point, I'm gonna buy a PC, but I will forever think we're holding on to some archaic technology for an unknown reason. Why do consoles mean controller? You run a controller, you get aim assist. You use mnk, no aim assist. It's that simple. The weird cronis recoil stuff is for weirdos, though.

I don’t really play FPS games anymore because of this. I also don’t watch any type of PvP content anymore unless it’s a broadcasted official LAN competitive event. You won’t find xim users at these.

If an R6 console player uses a XiM, then what ubisoft must do is to have an auto detect feature.. And let the XiMmer get connected to a PC server pools.. Then it'll all be fair, well as long as Ximmer doesnt offer this mods like recoiless shot, and aim assist..

In apex Aim assist win's 99% of close range fights because it is so strong. If I hit every bullet and deal 110 dmg vs a controller I should expect to take 200+ dmg in the same amount of time. Aim assist feels the exact same as full on rage aim hacking. It doesn't give Controller players a fighting chance.... It gives a 100% legitimate and extremely strong advantage in a game that is fundamentally defined by Close quarters combat.

It is in every single Console game aswell and “Scripts/Macros” it’s called! and Yes it is Cheating! They have to download Scripts/Macros. and the most Common Script Cheats? Is “Aimbot” “Zero Recoil” etc. it’s Cheating! Modscript Bots! lol

R6 has zero aim assist for controller making xim way more of an advantage than on some games

cronus and xim also have basic cheating scripts, like no recoil, steady aim, aim assist. it's a nightmare. a.i cheating now, so hoping with the same bullshit software and advancements better anticheats will prevail.

Unpopular opinion: MnK against console players is cheating in itself.

I've been gaming my whole life and it's been 3 months since I've picked up a controller because of cheating.

There's a simple solution, make the games support m/k that way there's no need for a xim. Speaking about consoles on this case, I'm a console player and xims are ruining a lot of games

This video is not all the way true, and has some Hegelian Dialect to it. Cronus, XIM, and Titan all have macros, scripts, 0 recoil, extra aim assist, and MnK compatible. Also, 95%+ ppl playing Controller on PC are using one, especially with the amount of ppl on PC using soft cheats via DMA and KMBox.

Edit: ppl use these devices to play MnK along with EXTRA aim assist on Console. However, ppl also use these with regular Controller on console for the macro movements and extra aim assist.

I miss the golden era so much (1990’s - 2014). The kids will never experience that amazing and fun time like we did, their closest experience to a good FPS era is probably Year 1 Fortnite and that’s extremely depressing.

Modding controllers is not cheating. Hacking aimbot ai software is cheating and for them I say this. God is watching you infringe on millions of people's rights. People were using xim since Battlefield 3 on xbox 360 and ps3. This cheating problem exist more than 10 years.

In Destiny 2 you see this for years and no one cares about it from the developers

Zero chance against cheaters on console. I cannot win. Nobody can. I also heard there’s a very high chance there’s cheaters in high top ranked in any fps multiplayer games. NOBODY is legit anymore.

Always love that the moment I get to the top of gold and low plat on Siege, I just know I have to turn my game sense up from the comfortable 80% chilling with the boys, to 100% fighting for my life to maintain my ranked w/l and k/d against XIM Matrix users who also have the built in Cronus. It's infuriating and Mousetrap is exceptionally cheesable from what I found burning an alternate account testing it in quick match.

From what I found, if you're blatant with it, Mousetrap will get you about 75-80% of the time. If you even just slightly slow down your sens, don't move for 15-20 seconds at the beginning of the round, or slowly spin during prep phase, it does fuck all against MnK adapters that have their controller emulation near 30-40%.

Note: I do NOT use Xim nor advocate its use. I use controller in any ranked game I play because I worked to develop my aim and movement on controller, and I'm slightly above average at best in any comp shooter on MnK.

There was such a long and great history with Doom and Quake and unreal and counter strike... but the more they try and integrate controllers the worse it gets. It is great for casual play but there is nothing competitive about it

Yes, those would be considered as cheating.
If developers and mouse and keyboard capabilities to the game, it’s honestly easier that way Activision does it for Call Of Duty and destiny to all allows mouse and keyboard already built into the game if you’re on a console or PC. That doesn’t exclude the fact that those third-party devices are not cheating. They are.
With EA anti coming out to Battlefield, they could add mouse and keyboard capability for consoles.
And a lot of these players that I am interacting with constantly are cheaters and it’s getting out of hand. I see more and more older games, because developers aren’t doing anything about it for the older titles. It’s sad really.
