What about when you’re going through the other insurance company of the driver who hit my car and damaged a few others? It’s been a month and I have no rental and my car is still not fixed. They are saying they can’t do anything until they have all the amounts for each car or whatever saying they only have 25k for payout. I’m sure they have more they can dip into they are bugging. As of right now my damages are 5k - I was the first one to call and the first one to get an estimate. There were 4 cars involved. One of the other vehicles is from Geico too. She said to get a rental and keep records but if they are saying they might not be able to pay how am I suppose to get a rental when they are saying they might not even cover all my costs. This is so frustrating.

Can I still claim, if the other person was at fault during a crash, but the car I was driving is not insured?

Correction you have to make sure you have whatever injury coverages if you had any. If you live in Ga diminished value is automatically calculated. There are states like Ca if the other party is unknown you cant use your uninsured coverage. There are states like Fl that dont have uninsured cov. MI is the tricky state. So he didnt tell you your coverages also goes by the state you live in. Pls check you state insurance requirements.

Please address how does anyone get information on what claim phone number do I call if the policy was written by a third party insurance company. E.g. Blue Star wrote a policy and provides the policy number on their insurance card “GAPA00xxxxxx” . There are a million “Blue Star”. Companies if you google them so how can we tell or find out?

is there any kind of deadline for insurance companies to have to settle issues typically? certainly varies by jurisdiction im just saying in general... was rear ended while stopped and the other driver had an expired temporary insurance card yet the police didnt charge them with driving without proof of insurance.. my insurance company is telling me the other partys provided wont answer them or is denying they have a policy there and insist theyre just going to keep calling and emailing them to ask again seemingly forever but wont classify it as an accident without insurance which i would still be covered for as the other driver was identified by police and left in an ambulance

they have me stuck in this loop of the company wont say they do or dont insure this person, therefor they cant confirm if the person is insured therefor they say im neither covered through the 3rd party insurance or through my policy which covers uninsured drivers... im stuck out of work, with a wrote off truck and trailer, and with nothing happening.. to me im either covered if theyre insured or im covered if theyre not insured lets get the ball rolling on repairs, replacements, health coverage, and lost wages and point fingers for blame later.. im in nova scotia we had a new province wide insurance system that forces your provider to pay you and get their reimbursement from the other party on their own time

I was in a car accident about 3 months ago it was determined that it wasn’t my fault my car has been in the shop for the last 3 months since the accident, but I haven’t been able to reach my adjuster left several voice mails and haven’t gotten a call back, my car is still 28 weeks out of getting fixed do to back order of parts. What can I do in my end? I’m still making payments for my vehicle and insurance. I’m just so lost and need guidance, I’ve contacted an attorney and he just said I’m in the right path but wasn’t much help. What can I do? Any advice? Please help me get some guidance..

I took the rental car and I took both insurance one CDW and one liability . I paid for both like $60 something for two days . Rental company has 2500 Deductible for if something happen to car . They forced me to pay they send some $4100 invoice from one body shop . As long as I know damage is not that much . What if I have uninsured motorist of 250,000 on my insurance. And somebody rear ended me and I got injured and I have to miss work For a few months, but the driver was never found. Hi I need help. I am not insured. I got into an accident where I was not wrong. The other party's insurance company called and they confirmed the accident happened on a differemt date. At the time of the call I was not sure of the date so I agreed to the date but when I reviewed date of when pictures of the scene were taken it was taken on a different date. What does it mean? Do you think they are trying to screw me over? I didnt answer any additional questions after confirming that the date and i stopped the call. I'm worried they might use me confirming the wrong date against me. I still havent even received the accident report from the police and I'm afraid that they might have changed the date there.

Is it normal that my claim adjuster did not ask for my dashboard camera recording before determining the collision was my fault? They only emailed me questions to fill out about the accident and that's it. The other party involved was a model 3 so he also has a recording but from his angle. It just doesn't seem fair that the adjuster did not ask me for details.

So... I had a car accident that was my fault and I reported it. The mini truck I hit was fine, but my car is kind of fuck up. The thing is that I've been paying my car insurance before the accident 260 dollars per month and I know they don't care at all about the amount. My car hasn't been fixed yet, the people from the insurance checked my car and they said they were going to call me back to take the car with them and fix it. it's been over a month and nothing. The funny thing is that the people from my insurance that I called to make a payment said that owe a thousand something bc I said that I was doing Uber and I had private insurance etc... and also they have to get me out of the company insurance (CRAZY THEY'RE TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET WHEN THEY HAVENT EVEN FIXED MY CAR). Also, I was not doing uber eats when I had the accident, I did uber eats last year, haven't done it in months. On the phone call, I said I was coming from college. Also, they said that the only company insurance that accepts me now is United, that I have to pay 670 dollars first and then I will have to pay 379 per month!!!!!! For now, I'm just trying to contact the person that is supposed to follow my case to talk to her. But what do you think about this situation, I think it's unfair and stupid. Hi I really hope you can help me. I recently got into an accident thats wasnt my fault. The other person admitted he was at fault. His insurance company is telling me that they’re requesting a quote for me ,will cut the first check to me and if the damages cost more than what the shop is asking for the body shop will have to call the insurance company to request the rest of the money.This doesn’t sound right to me. Why should the body shop be involved with the insurance company at all? The last time I got hit i uploaded pictures and a quote from a body shop of my choice and the other person’s insurance company sent me a check for a little bit more than what the shop was asking for. Can they go around me and just deal with the body shop for the remainder of the balance of my repairs? this is not sitting right with me. I was stopped at a red light when a guy rear ended me going at least 45mph. the back of my car has at least 8-10 thousand dollars worth of damage. I also had a passenger who got a bursted lip upon impact. I just dont want to get screwed over with this
