They make millions because it’s a business and they’re technically entrepreneurs. Look at the wnba they play basketball as well but they’re all broke. I don’t think people realize that it is only a select few professionals who get paid crazy loads of money. Many athletes work other jobs in the off season too. They love what they do and they play it, they worked hard to get there and they love the game. Further more why do we act surprised that some athletes are rich when we as consumeristic fans keep dumping money into their pockets. It’s simple economics and there is no reason to whine about that. People pay for what they want and people want and demand players to play sports.
