I am so inspired. thanks a lot!
ОтветитьThis is inspiring in so many ways.
Ответитьlove you
ОтветитьI live in a euroean country where you work your ass off and make little money with soaring inflation . Me and husband have to provide for our child. So how can people like me drop it all and travel the world? Im not in this rut for luxury but to make ends meet. I agree with her that all of us can be simpler though. The calm tone of your voice is very peaceful and i wish you the best.
ОтветитьI can relate with you. I am from the Philippines. I am on my 4th year in law school but I stopped since the pandemic. I realized that law degree will not make me happy. Currently, I have a decent place. My health is my priority. I am currently working in the corporate world as a legal, but I am thinking of ways to leave this corporate world because the legal profession is simply very stressful and toxic.
ОтветитьNot a typical woman lets say 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
ОтветитьThank you Jean. My wife and I are debating making a big change in our lives. After 30 years in the rat race we are looking at simplifying our lives, downsizing, and changing our mindset on what's important in life. We are both in our mid 50's burnt out on our jobs, knowing that if we take the leap we will also have to change our mindset of spending and lifestyles. Your video adds thought and assurance to helping us take the leap. Wishing you peace and happiness.
ОтветитьKeep up the great work! You are an inspiration. I love your attitude, you seem like a person that could handle whatever the world throws at you.
ОтветитьIts easy to do all this when you have money already.
ОтветитьI hope you feel better Jean. Best Dave
ОтветитьRight
ОтветитьPeople r running race for material things they don’t know one day everything gonna stay here when we die so better enjoy every moment of ur life
ОтветитьGreat video. You are SO smart!👍🏻👍🏻
Ответитьjust discovered your channel. you speak to my soul! Hug from a 40yr old surfer and scuba diver (still feeling like 25, but worried about life passing by and me not living the life I want/need) from zürich wanting to go and live by the ocean away from the consumerist society. Had a massive mid-life crisis last couple years because my job and life here made me depressed, sitting in the office the whole day doing stupid, meaningless marketing nonsense to fuel pointless consumerist society. it's all because the system since early age groomed us to become slaves of the capitalist society and fit into this system to fuel it. It took me so long to wake up I and I feel so overwhelmed and scared by not knowing how to get out of the rat race and creat the life I want
ОтветитьSimple life - pad your dog...go surfing - Not for everybody - the fashion/cosmetic industries - is in great danger (so many under employment).
ОтветитьPrimary thing people subconsciously crave for is happiness from attention, validation and care. Mostly money gets these things, hence people run for money.
Women get those happiness much more than men. More attention than men, more validation more care. Because, well.. look at her, she is one of the prettiest out there. Hence for women its easier to say they dont need money, we live once and all. For a man, if we say this, a few days later we will be sitting alone in a dark room crying inside and falling in depression.
Hi Jean, This is Uncle Raymond. Do you advocate a childless lifestyle? Your take.
ОтветитьThe less crap you have, the less crap you need to replace over time, and most of it sits around collecting dust, more difficult cleaning to do. Your materialism consumes you and keeps you poor.
ОтветитьThe pursuit of money never replaces the pursuit of happiness.
ОтветитьWow your story is so inspiring for me. I working past 5 years on doing what I love from the 9-5. Thank you for sharing that I see it's possible.
ОтветитьThis makes so much logical sense. I think we folks living in consumerism driven societies have it wrong. I love your videos.
ОтветитьHave kids Jean. You have good genetics that will go to waste.
ОтветитьI totally agree with you
Ответитьyou're amazing, what you say make sense, wise and beautiful on top of that, you got it all!!!!!!
Ответить❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьI like what you said so much. And I like your personality as well
ОтветитьI teared up watching this because it so true. Love this video, makes people think clearly about what’s around them and the importance of things and the value of life.
ОтветитьIt is all about the balance between life of earning (work) and life of relaxing (life). Accomplistionments and self development are mile stones in every personal life. You still have your successes but you said my success, referring to your previous job, were not fulfilling. Probably the job or the study choice was not the right one. You can always choose to work voluntary to serve the community and be part of this living through contribution if you do not like the earning of money concept. You can earn a position, reputation, honoring etc. You can leave a legacy that once you die, the world will thank you for and remember you. Nobody chooses for just 'life', and no one chooses for just 'work'. We need both and both must be balanced.
ОтветитьYOLO is misleading. You live everyday and die once. I enjoyed your video and I'm in the process of doing the same. My awakening to do this was due to my mom passing away last year. I am the eldest of two sons. My younger brother lives in another state. So it was up to me to handle all of her worldly possessions. And that's when I realized all of the waste she spent her money on. I couldn't criticize because the fruit didn't fall far from the tree. So I'm parting ways not only with my things but hers as well.
ОтветитьSounds like propaganda for the NWO. You’ll own nothing and be happy.
ОтветитьI really like this video. I watched many videos but this one is really nice. You would be a great mom! Keep doing the videos!
ОтветитьVery Nice!!
ОтветитьI was just planning to do the same, thanks for encouraging!🫡
ОтветитьTrading is another way of life as it has helped me a lot
ОтветитьTerrific video! Newer videos on simple living, including living on a smaller income, are hard to find lately.
Videos using the phrase Voluntary Simplicity seemed to have peaked 10 to 20 years ago.
Thanks for this and I agree big time 🙂 gave up my fancy career in land down under and back home in Cebu to live a more meaningful life, close to my family and much happier ❤️
Ответитьi wana live off grid in future

but definitly be great to live out doors not stressin bout money or social statues or anyone next door or in neighborhood
you are absolutely right
ОтветитьI am to much stressing about money and achievements in life while having kids. This makes me difficult to connect with my kids and hubby. So enough now, I would like to focus on the most important things. I know I can break the cycle. Thank you for your honest and great videos.
ОтветитьWhat you advocate sounds organic and (in my opinion) suits those without children or children who are old enough to support their own living. Less practical with growing children or seniors that depend on your care. Reality kills unfortunately...
ОтветитьHi Jean, you’re videos are inspiring. I admire your courage and to live your life the way you want it to be that makes you happy and fulfilled ( emotinally, spiritually ,physically. ) etc. I’m your new subbie now😊😍🥂👍
ОтветитьYou’re so beautiful!
ОтветитьI loved how you question and reclaimed the meaning of "you only live once".
ОтветитьThank you bringing us collectively back to a simpler healthier lifestyle.
ОтветитьLove you❤
Ответить"The things you own, owning you instead" Jean Voronkova
Wow! This quote really speaks loud volumes.
Thank you so much Jean. Been subscribed and following for a while but don’t usually comment hehe, however thanks for the really helpful insight on the pros and especially the cons! I can’t agree more ^^
