Homie is shredding this kit. This is the first real matching drum kit I've ever had and I'm in love with it. Attack tone ridge 2s on the toms and kick sound great. The snare is super light weight but has a nice snappy sound. Definitely an excellent apartment kit.

Ludwig dramatically improved several factors of this kit as of 2022, it would be great to see an updated video.

Just ordered one from you guys. Can't wait to play it.

Man, in that first groove he plays, when he switches to the ride bell--like, it's super simple. But for whatever reason it gave me the 'unnnhh!' face.

Does it come with the toms and snare hardware ??

I'm sad. I went to buy this yesterday, and it's no longer available. The blue sparkle is, but ANY of the other multiple finishes are not.. Gonna call Sweetwater today and find out what's up. That's the one thing about Sweetwater I love.. I can call 'em up and they'll do whatever they can to satisfy their customers.

Nice chops my friend. Definitely thinking on replacing my old jazz Sonar drums with this kit. However, I was in Sam Ash playing on it and the snare drum sounded very noisy and rattled a lot, especially whenever you hit the tom, which brought the sound of the tom down. Your snare doesn't sound like that at all which gives me hope. Thanks again. :)

I like that it has a 14” snare for a full-size snare sound.

Is this considered as beginner or intermidiate level kit? or higher?

I don't know if it's just the stock kick drum head but even with Nick who is a master at playing and making drums sound amazing, the kick drum definitely sounds horrible. I'm sure if you were to put an Aquarian super kick or something along the lines of that it would absolutely make it world a difference. As for the snare and the toms they sound great.

2021 now the breakbeats is big compared to some of the other kits out there, haha. I love seeing Nick and these older Sweetwater vids and how much the quality has changed.

I have this kit and it sounds just like this! It may be small but it sure packs a punch! The kick drum is awesome sounding and for decently cheap snare it sounds crisp and professional

this guy makes magic with 4 piece kits...when I watch him play bigger kits, the playing isn't nearly as good as when he plays a 4 piece. I shouldn't phrase it that way...his playing is always good, but it just seems even better when he plays 4 piece kits.

the lesson here is...it's the drummer way more than it's the drums. So...this kit is all anyone needs until they can drum 1/10th as good as this guy can.

There is still a lot to carry around. It's really no different than a normal kit. Still need the hi hat stand, snare stand, throne, cymbal stand, bd pedal, cymbal bag. I take multiple trips to load/unload from car to venue.

These types of drums set are some what ok but there heard where like the crash is trash

never had to pack your kit in a cab !!!!!!! really....you dont know how how lucky you are.....👎

Thanks for the excellent video. Could you tell us how you've tuned it up (i.e., what pitch each head is tuned to)? Nick's such a master that he could make a cardboard box sound amazing, but still we love the sound you're getting and want to use it as guide to our own tuning.

Ludwig was THE sound from back in the day but they seemed to lose that sound over time. Nice to hear that again.
