Rewatching this old review, I can't help but think of the '23 Accord that has ditched its 2.0T and only has the 1.5T + CVT going forward. What an incredible disappointment and letdown from Honda, at least for someone like me who likes cars that have some semblance of power and are fun to drive. A large displacement NA V6 in a family sedan like this Camry V6 is still something worth buying and driving before the inevitable switch to downsized turbocharged engines, or even hybrid 4 cylinders.

I still can't get past the ugly Toyota/Lexus front end styling.

What you not know, these transmissions have a learning ability, if your drive it like you are trying to impress others or to show off given things through this time the trans learns key factors and from this, this could be the reason you and so many have made the same or similar complaint. I have a 2018 Camry SE and I love this transmission. My complaint on this car was Toyota being cheap with the twin tail pipes, no matter if on the SE with the single dual setup or the XSE where i think they have the double setup, anyways the inner section is the only functional piece, the outer is a fake.
